Excelled in school, even got a scholarship from the government to come to the country, study and have great future prospects. Then imagine your child became depressed, reading news every day about how she is hated in the country just for not being born there. That she isstared at on public transport and people make fun of her in different languages because they assume she can't understand. She is overwhelmed and stressed with schoolwork, being away from her loved ones, and being surrounded by hatred, and she kills herself, all alone in her dorm. You find the article online and, seeking sympathy, read the comments. Unfortunately, most of them call your child trash and continue making fun of her death. Wife plus Husband

On Monday,the group3 had a discussion on whether the government should pay the housewife in order to release the complaints arisen among Singaporen people,especially women devoted a lot to their families.
In the beginning,to tell the truth,I don't think the pattern where women sacrifice their potential careers for the housework and children rearing should be taken for granted at all.What we advocate all the time,the so-called equality between two sexes,should never be an beautiful but empty promise,which definitely indicates that women own the equally rights to pursue their careers and ideas,just as reasonble as men.Thus,it cannot be more evident that the housework and other things for maintainning the whole family is bound to be undertaken by both wife and husband.
In my opinion,the housework is different from the generally work paid by employers or the goverment.People get salary for their outside jobs because they have done something for others,for companies or the society,so money is sent to them as reward.However,in contrast,people do housework to be able to fulfill the neatness in the houses,which is actually for themselves.They clean the house to live a cosier life,which is quite similar with going out to buy vegetables for dinner to feed themselves and not to"live a hungry life",which cannot be regarded as one of normally paid jobs.It's weird to judge it from the paticular angle.
Nevertheless,there is no denying that housework is a big burden.And furthermore,it is a kind of burden that demands contributions from both two sides.To be exact,it's considerably unfair to put all the pressure on one person's shoulders,since both the wife and the husband is in natural need of a well-arranged living house.
As a matter of fact,besides housework,everything in married life requires efforts of both sides,and love is included as well.In every case where the family feels like reaching a sence of balance or handling a kind of problem,wife plus husband equals to a perfect resolution.Go for it.

My attitude towards Lin Shuhao

    Nowadays many people will know Lin Shuhao, who is a talented basketball player in NBA. He played very well in several latest matches and caused a sensation in NBA. As a result, people get to know this yellow racial basketball player and become crazy about his wonderful performance.

    In my point of view, I think Lin Shuhao deserves being proud of. Although his nationality is American, his success implies that basketball isn’t the sport only for black and white people, yellow people could also play it extremely well. Just as Liu Xiang got the champion in 110 meters hurdle race, every Chinese took pride in him for not only he won a gold medal for China in the Olympic Games but also he demonstrated yellow people could also run fast in race.

Furthermore, I learn a lot from his personal experience. Lin Shuhao wasn’t regarded as an excellent basketball player until several days ago. Although he has led the basketball team of Harvard university to get the best record in its history, he wasn’t admitted by any of NBA team when he wanted to join in NBA. Finally he joined in NBA but didn’t get enough time to show his talent. After being traded for many times and faced with being fired by New York Nicks, he chose to win his reputation back in a few chances. With determination he played very well and led his team to beat La Lakers which has Kobe Byrant. From this I learned that when we are faced with a dilemma, we should stick to our belief and try our best to get our success. People’s potential ability is very incredible. We need drug our potential capacity to do the best of ourselves.

In conclusion, Lin Shuhao sets a model for us to drug our potential ability to do the best of ourselves.

Martians and Venusians

Many people may have heard the book that was written by John Gray, Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. This book discussed the differences between the two genders, which has helped to save plenty of relationship.

Just as the book said, men are different from women in many aspects. For example, when a woman tells a man that he doesn’t love her, the man may feel confused and angry. He may think,“I work very hard outside to support the family, buy you things that you like as many as possible, and I even help you to do housework, why did you say that I didn’t love you?”But actually, the woman just wants the man to show his love at that moment.

Men and women think in different ways, so do their behaviors. When men face some difficulties or suffer from stress, they may stop working and relax themselves by thinking deep. On the contrary, if a woman feels stressful, she may go out for shopping, or chat with her friends. Men and women behave differently in relationships, too. If a woman’s boyfriend becomes her best friend’s husband, the two girls may break up immediately. But if it happens to a man, they may continue their friendship.

Therefore, next time when you have a quarrel with your boyfriend or girlfriend, try to think in his or her angle, then you will make peace with each other soon.

Gu HongMing is a very famous litterateur in modern times of china.He was born in  Pengnang Island belonging to Malaysia,received his education in Europe,married in Japan and worked for the Northern Warlords.He was a real genius and he could speak seven languages and received thirteen master degrees.I think what he had done to learn new language could give us an excellent example.His father was a Chinese manager in a rubber plantation and his mother is a European who could speak Spanish and Portuguese.His adoptive father is a rich man whose name was Brown.He brought him to the England and taught him English.At first ,every day Brown let Gu read only one sentence in <Faust> and recited it clearly.After a long time ,he could even recite the whole book.Then ,Brown was very glad and let him to read the complete work of Shakespeare but also every day he he could only read a few sentences.Several years later could even recite all the dramas,which was quite amazing and incredible.And then he started to read other novels and essays which were quite challenging.Owing to his willpower, he almost read all the books in the library and later he started to learn French and other languages.
His achievements may actually make us envy him.But at the meantime ,what we should do is change our study method and find some useful information from his success and also study hard to manage this language.

whether housewives should be paid by the government

In today’s class, we had a heated discussion about whether it should be regarded as a human right for housewives to get paid from the government. As far as I am concerned, they are not supposed to be paid. I do not mean that they should not be respected or their work is meaningless, but it is still not practical enough to define “housewife” as a job to be paid.
First, I think housework is not a unique thing only done by housewives. Women with full-time work also have to do the cooking, cleaning, washing after work. It will be unfair for them if only housewives are paid. Second, when being housewives is paid, there will be more women who choose to quit their jobs which will finally become a severe problem to the society. In addition, it is hard to judge whether they should be paid equally or differently. It is definitely impossible for the government to measure how much work they have done and then decide their salaries.
Actually, housework is considered as the duty of each family in our society. Some women choose to treat it as their major work to do it better, they do contribute to the society by making their family a more harmony one and should be acknowledged by us. But I don’t approve the idea to pay for their work.

Fighting~

Timeflies so quickily that we have been here for over 2months.During these two
months,we gradually know about Singapore,we try to adapt to the life here step
bby step,we start to commnicate with others in English frequently instead of
being nervous all the time.Perhaps we have doubt whether we hade made a good
choice;Perhaps we have missed our family and our friends so much that have
regreted for a moment.However,with the efforts we take,we know we can manage
it.As long as we work hard for it,we can achieve a good result.It is never too
late to persue our dream and nobody can make their dream come true without any
difficulties and suffering.I fimly believe we must get closer to our dream
through the life here.Just fighting,no matter what difficulties you meet
with,keep in mind that your friends are always here for you,and you will never
be lonely.

The teacher that impressed me the most.

In my past 19 years, I experienced many things. Especially in my senior high school, in my second year of that, I think that year I got more than I had gotten before. Many things that I cannot imagine happened to me which made me panicky, but I overcome that period of time. Thanks to the teacher who is just like my mom that helped me pull through that time.
She is a kind person who will always wear a brilliant smile. Miss Flower once told me that she thought my teacher was a very pure person without thinking too many complicated things. And I do agree with her thought. In my mind, the only thing in her mind is to teach her students, all the students, to become good people. She kept telling us to be the best oneself. I still remember the first day I saw her, she stood on the platform, with that pretty smile, with a huge enthusiasm saying that we class 6, would be the best, and everyone in our class would just like our relative. We will be a united whole. Later, because our discipline was not good, she told us many times to change the way that we behaved, but few students did that. She cried many times, but after that, the next day, she would still have that big smile and still insisting taking care of us. In her eyes, we are all the best.
I still remember it is her who came to see me in the hospital. I can bet that no other teachers will cry for me just like her. The scene in my mind is still very clear. She sat at my bed. I looked at her eyes, and I saw the tears in her eyes. No one except my parents will do that. She is the only one. I have to admit during the time of recovering, it is her tears that made me brave to endure the severe pain in my body. I can hardly respire, but I just insisted because of her. Yes, it is all because of her. Later I came back to school, I suffered again, not only because of the body, but also because of the spirit. She encouraged me every day. Baobao, I believed that you are the best, you can do it. Trust yourself. Nothing can defeat ourselves except you. I have kept those words in my mind until now. Every time I am depressed, I will always think of those words. They are the motivation to push me go. And after coming here, my teacher will still encourage me through QQ, every time I open the window, see the bright sunshine, I will think of her smiling face. Nothing will defeat ourselves. Be the best oneself.
I do feel a great honor to have her in my life. She is different from any other teachers. She gives me a kind of feeling just like my mother gives. I love her, from the bottom of my heart. I am fortunate to have her to be my teacher. I hope she can have smile everyday. I hope we can go on together.

learn to depend on yourself

Recently an issue happened in Hefei province of China attracted my attention. Tao rukun, a 17 year-old boy, hanker a girl called Zhou yan. However, he was rejected by the girl, which made him so angry that he made an extremely action. He poured oil to the girl and set a fire to her, causing a very serious result. The girl was badly disfigured. Worse still, she now has become psychotic disorder, which hit badly to the whole family. What made me angry most was that since the boy’s father owns great power, the boy’s family compelled the girl to sign the contact in order to escape from the law responsibility. They will stop offering the money for curing the girl if they refuse to do so. Now the case is still being investigated. The girl’s family was so poor that they cannot afford the money to go to the court and pay for the medical bill.

This case now has raised great concern in society. At present a new word, guan er dai, have emerged on the Internet in China, which means that the offspring of the government official. Relying on their family’s power, they act without considering the moral and even the law. In my opinion, there is nothing to show off if one only depends on his family’s power and money. No matter how powerful your family is, the money or the status is not obtained through your own efforts. A wealthy family means that you may be offered more opportunities on the way to success. It does not mean you can spend money or play power as you like. I think life like that is meaningless. You may not be able to choose how rich your family is, however, you can choose what life you want. Only money or power pursued through your own efforts can be respected by others. Always depending on family without any efforts will result in nothing but a bad reputation and an insignificance life.

Should the government give money to the housewives?

Through the discussion in today's class, I quite agree that government should sponsor the housewives.

This is really a interesting question that I or most people have never thought about before. We all think that it is housewives' responsibility to do housework and take charge of the old parents and children but they are belong to both wife and husband and why should only women take charge of them? Here comes the question that why can not they also choose to work outside just like their husbands? Many people's answer is that they prefer to do so but the fact is that looking after the old parents, babies and the children who do not go to school and clean the house are really tough work to do that many of the housewives prefer to have a job out. Nowadays people are always saying that men and women equal to each other but why in this case they are different? In my opnion, what the housewives do is as important as what the husbands do for the family. In this angle of family, they both do their best to make their familys live in a better life. Since the value of housewives'work is the same as husbands' , houswives also should be paid as their husbands, shouldn't they?

So now let's talk about the money for housewives should come from who. Let's take a view of this issue as you are the government. Your aim is to develop the economy and make residents harmony and happy. What the husbands do is to create the wealth for the society and what the housewives do is to solve the family's problems and make their family be harmony.As familys are the basic parts to constitute the society, so the housewives also contribute to the harmony of society, dont't they? Actually, most of the delinquents did't get much regard from their parents when they were small. Governments of course should sponsor the people who contribute a lot to the society.

Anyway, this is just my own opnion about this issue. There are still many details should be considered once governments really going to do this but at least this is something deserved to be think about.

what men should do facing the changes?

As women become more and more competitive in study and work,some men have been aware of the subtle changes in their positions and family roles.In the sense of foresight,it is time for us to think about what we need to do in facing this inevitable trend.In short,I have concluded two basical strategies--positive stategy and passive strategy.
The positive strategy for men is to try their best to recover what they have lost.It requires men to make more effort in school or in their occupations,which makes our society more competitive.And more intense competition means a faster development. It seems to be the better choice.However,it goes against the trend, which make it more difficult for women to develop their career so that it will slow the progress. Going upstream is always difficult. By contrast,the passive strategy is much easier.Since you cannot and should not stop the process,why not change youself to adopt to the changes?Especially,you need to do a lot of housework,just like your wife. That is, it time for us to learn how to cook. However, things never be too easy.On the one hand,we should prepare ourselves to accept the new roles. On the other hand, we should struggle to be more competitive in work.This is the "march on can attack,draw back can defend" strategy.

           How to accumulate and deal with our wealth

Every person can dream of having a great deal of wealth one day. Then how can we accumulate our wealth step by step? What should we do with our fortune?

From my perspective, firstly, during our time in the school, we should not only focus on knowledge, but also concentrate on skills. As is known to us that we need knowledge to apply in our work. What’s more, we also need skills to come up with a question and find a solution. Maybe we’re too busy preparing for the entrance examination before. So when we go to the university, we need more time to practice solving problem, getting along with others and so on. Only we get on well with our teammates, can we do a better job.  So in our university, we should develop our social skills more often.

Then when we go to work, we are supposed to know how to make use of our money. If we buy anything we want without restriction, we won’t accumulate our wealth. What we should do is to learn to invest our money and earn more money. We can buy a house or some stocks to wait for it appreciating, before you invest it.

Finally, I think if we acknowledge knowledge and skills, besides we work hard and make good use of money, we will become wealthy. In my point of view, when we are wealthy, we’re supposed to share our money with the poor to cure many social ills in the world. If we do that, we will get happiness back.

Alpha(α) girls--a rising phenomenon

      This week's topic is about love which is related to two genders,but today I'd like to emphasize more on girls with my opinion on the rising phenomenon--alpha girls.
     The conception of alpha girls was first created by Dan Kindlon, the psychological professor of Harvard University,in 2008,which refers to those girls who are not restricted by traditional sub-roles of being a female gender;on the contrary,they appear to be more talented and capable than boys.Since these girls or women are so excellent,even top,that they are defined by using the first Greek alphabet α.

     Some good examples can be put forward to illustrate this phenomenon.In the USA,the students sexual rates in the universities began to reverse at the end of 1980s.Until 2005,girls made up 59% of those who were awarded honor diplomas.What's more,female power is getting stronger,with more and more female politicians shining on the global stage,as long as female scientists, lawyers, engineers.This phenomenon smashed the stereotype that top and high-tech domains should totally belong to men.Furthermore,Dan pointed out that in the USA about 20% girls cannot feel their being as female,which means that they have never been affected by their gender on social activities.According to her analysis, after the popularity of equal rights for both genders,these girls grew up under a totally fair environment,that's why we have alpha girls who take it granted to have the same status with boys. 

     When it comes to me, I'd like to focus more on the loving affairs of alpha girls.Frankly speaking,I grew up under a fair system where I received same education,attention and honor with boys.But should I strive for being as an alpha girl?Although α girls are glorious on many occasions,most of them are not going smoothly on their love.In Korea,there is a growing tendency for parents to send their boys to boy schools in order to avoid competing with girls,which seems to be ironic,leaving the α girls on the peak.Actually,α boys prefer to find a β girl,with a sense of superiority,which pushes α girls to date with β boys reluctantly.Under this circumstance,α are cautious to mention their excellence for fear of putting pressure on β boys.What's worse,more and more α girls are choosing to remain single.

     Well,to sum up,there should be no hesitation for a girl to pursuing brilliance and prominence for fear of the negative effect.Every one is born to be equal,what we need is better understanding and significance from the whole society which should develop not only on economy,but also on broader mind and opinions.

Pure love

When I was in my junior high school, our class monitor is a lovely and warm-hearted girl. She always has good behaviors no matter in class or after class. Gradually, I found that I began to like her, and the feeling was very strong. In order to accelerate my pace to catch up with her I studied very hard. Furthermore, I took part in many activities whether I like or not to increase the time that I can be with her. But I knew that we were still students and did not have the right to have this special emotion. So I did not tell her the feeling in my deep heart until the day before our graduation. On that unforgettable day, I gave her a book with a letter in it. I can remember the letter clearly—

… I like the feeling when I stay with you. Your smile is just like the sunshine in my heart… I hope you can happy forever…

She wrote back to me the next day telling me that she cried after reading my letter and she would never forget the warmth I gave her. Now, we are one of the best friends for each other, and the puerile” love” will be kept in my heart forever.

When you were young, have you tried to figure out why we have to go to school?After several years, now I think maybe it's because at that time we are not mature enough to start working and we need to be trained to be qualified .Or maybe it's a bonus for everyone to enjoy their life at school and develop themselves .Education is needed for society ,and important in our whole life.
Education can help society develop faster.By learning the wisdom of former people,our society can find a better way of development.People who are educated can help improve the society structure ,raise the social efficiency ,maintain the stability of society and so on by using what they learned at school; With more educated people,there will be less social illnesses ;The society will develop secondary and tertiary industry more and the society will be more sufficient ,if there are enough skilled manpower.

       When was your last time chatting on the QQ or sending a short message? A week, a day, or just now. The statistics signifies that instant message(IM) has become a necessity to many people in life like water or air. They habitually maintain their relationships with their friends, relatives and anyone they care about. Nevertheless, IMs may dilute the relation in an inconceivable way.

       The main reason, which is also the main difference between IM and normal communication, why it may cause distance is that both communicators are invisible to one another. When people use IMs, they always use oral language not written language. These two languages which are parallel can be easily distinguished because the spoken language is more casual and consists a lot of facial expression and tones. Otherwise it might become ambiguous. So, when someone receives an instant message, he will interpret the message by imagining the situation and miss enormous information for most emotions like sincerity, happiness or anger are contained in the tones. These sorts of little misunderstanding will add up to become huge gap between two people due to the use of IM.

       Another reason for us to give up instant message is that we need more opportunities to train our communication skills. To take account of the cause of the prevalence of the instant message, we know that many people feel comfortable when they can chat with others without seeing others’ faces and don’t have to respond to others immediately. I have encountered so many people who are funny and creative in the world of IM but dull and boring in the real world. They just lack exercises. But the real relationship needs passion to cement. By using IM, we can never progress.

       Thus, IM make our bonds no longer close and everybody become a string of number in the address list. Is that what we are pursuing? Convenient, albeit unreal. We should go out and communicate with others face to face, only in that way can we gain the real and firm relationship.

Goddess' tears

It's said that at the time the universe was created，a goddess named Nuwa was born.She was in charge of all living creatures great and small and was destined to bring vitality to this desolate land.As long as she passed by,flowers would bloom and birds would sing sweetly.Thanks to her great love and blessing,the world became full of life.She is actually the mother of all the life.

However,as the world was at its begining,there was no enough gods to maintain its regulation but too many demons which brought disaster and misery to all creatures.Suffering was everywhere.As all the livings just liked her children,Nuwa could feel their suffering.Each time she saw some creatures in pain,she would be very sad and streamed with tears.Because the tears contained her universal love and all-encompassing compassion ,the land which her tears dropped down upon would be revitalised.Wither trees would grow new buds.Faded flowers would get a new lease of life.And dead animals could back to life again.So magical her tears is,as great as her fraternily.

One day,Nuwa passed by human being' tribe and saw some people died in the disastar.Their relatives was crying bitterly aroud the lifeless bodies.Out of great compassion,she well out tears.As soon as her tears dropped down, all the dead were revived.All the people were shocked by this strange and formidable lady.They prostrated themselves in worship and chanted"holy goddess" except one person stood beside.

He was stunned by the scene and totally attracted by this fairy lady.You may wonder why he dare to stand by while others all kneel down.Because he was also a great one.He is called Fuxi,the king of all the original human being,who used to be a god but rebirth as the wisest human later. He was destined to lead all the human being to live a happy life .

Fuxi invited Nuwa to their tribe and human all around offered the best food to Nuwa to show their worship.Nuwa was happy to be welcomed and respected by these special creatures.She was also curious about human's life thus decided to stay at the tribe for a few day.However,as time went by,she indeed lived a happy life with human so that she ignored how many days had gone.And Fuxi was always accompanied with her.

When their days turned into months,Nuwa found that Fuxi was different from others.He was the king of all the human being and deeply loved all his people. Just like Nuwa's, his fraternity was also as great as the sky. Attracted by the common thought of each other,they fell in love.Their marrige is sweet.On the one hand,they show the universal love to their people,just like the greatest god.On the other hand,they cherished their private love to each other,like the commonest couple.Under Fuxi and Nuwa's leadship,human being lived better and better.

Several years after their marrige, all the gods decided to carried out a devastating blow on demons. In desperation,demons launched revenge crazily.Human's tride was also involved. To protect his people, Fuxi led his warriors into the war. In the fierce battle, Fuxi was seriously injured.When he was carried to Nuwa,he was to die.

Seeing her lover was badly wounded, Nuwa,who was in great grief, burst into tears right away.However,as her tears dropped down upon Fuxi's body.Her lover didn't get recovered as its suppose.Why?Bcause the tears dropped down before was out of her universal love,those were goddess' tears thus magical. However,the tears that dropped on Fuxi was out of her individual love.these were a common woman's tears. And at present,Nuwa wasn't the great goddess, but Fuxi wife,no more than the commonest women.Finally, Fuxi died before Nuwa. A great goddess who could raise every creature from death cannot save the man she loved.Isn't it ridiculous?

Therefore,we could say that the great goddess Nuwa doesn't have any private love but her universal love.

A moving story of Hachi

The well-known movie was adapted by a true story happened in Japan and the main idea is to show a dog’s loyalty to his master.

A professor run into a little lost dog in the train station, it was such a cute dog that the professor liked him the first sight he saw him. The professor picked it up and wanted to help it find his master. However, no one claimed that he owned the dog. At last, the professor decided to keep it by himself and named it Hachi which represented 8 in Japanese.

He just treated it like his son. He worried Hachi when it was raining outside, he was happy when he taught Hachi how to chase and bring back the ball, he shared a bucket of popcorns with Hachi.

As Hachi grew up, he would follow the professor to the train station every morning for him to take it to the university. At dawn, Hachi would go to the station again to wait for the professor to go back home. Every day, Hachi would stay at the same place and waited quietly.

The tragedy happened that the professor died of a heart attack in his class, Hachi couldn’t find his master in crowd, so he just stay there and waited till it was dark. He was moved to the professor’s daughter’s home which was far away from the station because the professor’s wife wanted to move to another town to go through the sorrow. To everyone’s surprise, Hachi rushed out the house when it was the time for the professor to come back home. He was such a brilliant dog that he did not lose his way and reached the station, then, he stayed at where he stayed every day and just waited. The daughter could not stop him, finally, she let him go.

Every day in the following ten years, Hachi would go to the station at the same time and wait, no matter it was cold or hot. Kind- heart people would offer him some food and water to allay his hunger. Until one day, Hachi closed his eyes forever in a beautiful dream with the professor at the place he stayed every day.

Love of my Pre-existence

I got a rose on QQ for my Valentine’s Day gift. The people, who sent it to me, was not my boyfriend. However, he was my father, the most important man in my life.
There is a fascinating story in the Buddhist Scriptures saying that the daughter is the lover of her father’s pre-existence. Although my father doesn’t really believe there exists his pre-existence, he still chooses to believe this beautiful saying and never forget me when he enjoys his romantic time with my mother on Valentine’s Day.
Coincidently, I was born on 7th July in Chinese lunar calendar. It was the traditional Chinese Valentine’s Day when Mr Niu(Niulang) and Miss Zhi(Zhinv) met each other every year. As my mom said, I couldn’t wait to meet my father who was my lover of pre-existence on that day, so I chose this special day and came to this lovely world a month before the day that the doctor had anticipated.
The daughter is the lover of her father’s pre-existence. What a wonderful saying it is. Perhaps that’s the reason why the father are so unwilling when he pass his daughter’s hand to her husband. Perhaps that’s the reason why the father devotes all his love to his daughter in the whole life.

Expression of Love

This Tuesday was Valentine's Day. On that day, I saw a lot of heart ballons in the canteen.It's a common method people use to exprss their love, but I think true love is expressed in daily life.

It may just a cup of tea when you are tired, or a hug when you are sad. True love isn't made up of sweet talk, but small warm things that consist of life.

When I was very young, I always saw the old couple next door sit together in the sunshine. Sometimes I can see the old man wispered to his wife, and then she smiled sweetly.I didn't know what they were talking about,maybe it was something happened in their young age, but I can see the lady's smile in the sunshine.I swore it's the most beautiful smile I have seen, and I can feel the happiness between them.

I think it's the romance. Some people use flowers, love letters or candlelight dinners to create romance, but I think romance is the heart consonance between the lovers. It is from being together morning and night for a long time.

It's just like the lyrics saying, "The most romantic thing is that we slowly get old together." Romance is in daily life,and the expression of true love is from heart.

The origin of the valentine's Day

  The Valentine's Day of 2012 has gone ,and I think most of us had been depressed on that day because we undergo that day alone just we used to in the last 19 years or more.-_-\\\囧。Don't worry ,everything will be OK ,I think.(although it is 2012 .囧)。But this is not I want to stress.
Nowadays,in china and many Asian countries,Valentine's day is very popular among young couples.But ,maybe ,many people ,even young people,don't know the origin of this special day?Now I will tell you.
In the end of the 9th century,there was a Nazarene(传教徒),whose name was Valentine.He did missionary work(传教) secretly which was forbidden at that time.But what he did was finally exposed and he was sent to the prison.However,the prison guard and his daughter were deeply touched by his brave behaviour.So they took good care of him during the rest day ,risking their own lives.On the eve of his being put to death,he finally decided to write a letter to the blind lady to tell her "I love you."Then,on Feb 14th,which was the day valentine dead ,the poor lady planted a apricot tree(杏树) in front of his bomb to express her sorrow and thanks.To memorise Valentine and his girlfriend,The lover's Day is celebrated on Feb 14th,and named after the brave young man.
 this is not the end .Also ,there is another version.
In the 3rd century BC,the king of Ancient Rome ------claudios(克劳迪乌斯)，was a very cruel man.Because of the endless wars,he claimed that every young man who was in suitable age should draft in the army and sacrifice the life for the country.He also forbidden young couples to get married.Because of this ,many young couples had to separate and had no time to stay with each other--tragedies were on show everywhere.Then,a kind priest St Valentine decided to host weddings for them,which appealed a lot of young couples.However,this plan also exposed and he was arrested.Thousands years later,the name of claudios sank in the sea of the history,but St Valentine ,because of his kindness,was still remembered by people today.

A successfulman maybe mean a ladies man, a leader of the group . One whose life
is full of party . A man who is funny , handsome , and smooth .


But this manin my story was not all these things , his name was Harvey . Harvey
was a potato of person meant just the most ordinary person like you
and me now . On Friday nights he would go to a movie . On Sundays he
would do his laundry . He liked chicken wings but not too spicy . For
dessert he ate cakes and cookies . He worked at a mediocre job for
mediocre pay .Every year he sent a card for mothers day .


When it comesto stature , Harvey stood head and shoulders below everyone else . He
was a short man with a little head . He was a little obese , maybe
this was another reason that I said Harvey was a potato of person .


Just liked thehundreds of days before , Harvey rolled down from his little bed
because of the crazy ringing alarm clock . After finishing rinsing in
a few minutes , he went to his car with neat and tidy shirt but a tie
that never matched , rushing his breakfast in his mouth . He drove
towards to the building he worked in without anything in his head and
eyes and the noisy music in the car .After an hour's blank to him ,
he arrived the destination or I should say the place used to be his
destination . He found something strange . So many car stopped on the
street , people just stood beside their cars with a strange
expression on their faces .Harvey jumped out of his car and shouted
to the people :' Hey guys ! What's going on ? Get your cars out of my
way ! ' But nobody answered him . Harvey felt so angry , he turned
his face to where people were seeing , he saw nothing . But nothing
is something , suddenly , Harvey 's expression became the same as the
others . 'Where is the building ? Where is my company's building ?'
he asked himself in a low voice that only himself could hear . The
stranger standing beside him now seemed like his best friend . 'Do
you think this means we are fired ? ' Harvey now was completely
confused and ask others . He just couldn't understand this , the
building was even there yesterday . Lost in his thought , Harvey
moved into his car without finding nobody answered his questions . He
just started the engine and wanted to go home . He missed his bed ,
maybe he was just not awake now . He wanted to sleep on his
comfortable bed and then all these crazy dreams would come to the end
. But he began to find more buildings disappeared in this city . When
he came out of his car again , he found that the world was completely
quiet except the noisy music from his car . All the people just stood
there seeing the blank of the buildings without any discussion or
movements . Harvey felt scared and shouted to the sky :'What the hell
is going on ?' The sky seemed to give the response , a lighting
flashed the air , some words appeared in the sky : error 404 . Harvey
now felt hopeless and was frozen like all the other people .


At the sametime , computer engineer Tom sit in front of his computer , the
computer program he wrote which was named as ' The Harvey 's world '
collapsed because of an error . He felt so upset about this . He
decided to have a smoke on the balcony of his office . He wanted to
enjoy the fresh air there and relaxed himself at this terrible moment
. He walked to the balcony and find the golden sun shined directly
through the window which he had never seen before . 'How can the sun
shines directly into this office ?' he asked himself . His office was
always quite dark without much sunshine. When he finally arrived at
the balcony , he knew why now . The building opposite disappeared .

My attitudes towards how to be successful in business

With the development of the economy, more and more people want to be a successful business man. But only a few of them can make it and i think each person has their own way to be successful. However, in my opinion, all of them should have some qualities in common.

Here are some suggestions on how to be successful in business.

At first, you should be honest. What' the meaning of honest? I think, firstly, your product should be in good quality; secondly, the price of your product should be logical; And then you should not hide the drawbacks of your product letting your consumer be repentant after buying your product. Only in this way can you get the trust of your consumer.

Also, you should be very careful when doing business. Maybe your partner will disclose the secrets of your company; Maybe your cooperator will cheat your money; Or maybe your competitor will copy your good idea in your products. All of these are the challenges you will face, and you should be very careful when dealing with these challenges.

what's more, you should devote yourself to your business. You should work hard to collect all the new information of your products to catch up with the pace of the development of your product. You should try your best to think of the new ideas to let your consumers be interested in your products. You should also be very clever to manage your employees to let them be happy to work for you.

My opinion on campus love

Valentine's Day is around the corner and lovers can be seen everywhere to celebrate this significant festival. As an undergraduate student, it causes me to think much about the love in campus. Campus love is not a newly-born phenomenon nowadays. Some people may think it is quite natural for us undergraduate students, however ,I do not advocate it.

To start with, students，especially like us freshmen, are still not mature enough mentally. The main task for students is still study. Falling in love at this time will distract our attention towards the school work. As we can see, many students delay their studies because of indulging in love. They can not balance the relationship between their study and their emotion. Secondly ,many students choose to be together not because they really fall in love with each other ,but for the reason that they just want to find a way to kill their time or just want to find a person to company with them.some even just want to demonstrate their charming and fascination by changing their ‘partner’ continually. I do not think relationship like this will last long. Last , the possibility that they can get married after graduation is slim. Many students have to break up finally due to various reasons, like where to settle down after the graduation ,spending less time together owing to the heavy pressure on work .

To conclude ,for us undergraduate students ,when we are facing the emotional problems,we had better look before we leap . I think we are still young enough to wait for the right person in the future. So do not hurry. We can make a wiser choice after our graduation.

LOVE

Today is definitely a special day! .Though I haven’t got a boyfriend thus no need to celebrate Valentine’s Day, it is still meaningful for me to think about love and write about love now.
First I want to say that sometimes it is really important for us to speak our love out. Just as the saying goes: "I like not only to be loved, but to be told I am loved. "Not only between lovers but also among families, saying “I love you” is always the best way to develop a better relationship. Sometimes, it may seems irrational that we have already know what others feel about us, for example none of us can deny that our parents love us a lot, but we still expect to hear them express their care for us. However, though we know this kind of thought well, when it comes to our turns we still feel to shy and seldom say our deep feelings out to the people who are important to us. Maybe we just need to be braver!
Next, I want to share some of my views towards marriage to you, they may sound not mature enough, but at least they make sense to me. With no doubt, the couple should have some things in common such as similar background and similar education levels to make sure they can share their topics and will not be bordered too much by entirely different habits. But, to some extent, they can be opposite to the other. That means what one is short for is right what the other is long for, and vice versa. Then, when doing some certain things, they may both lose doing it separately but when they help each other and work together they can easily succeed. That shows their marriage is a perfect combination.
Finally, I wish every a happy Valentine’s Day, and I hope everyone in our class can find their loved ones in the near future.

The strategy to a foreign language

Mastering a foreign language means building a bridge to make friends with foreigners.How can we learn a foreign language as soon as possible?
    Firstly,interest serves as the best teacher ,we should develop interests in what we learn and bury ourselves learning it.Concentration will improve our efficiency of learning.Secondly,we need to set a plan for ourselves.Only if we have a goal every day,we will keep motivation all the time.Then it is useful for us to get close to native speaker to use foreign language to communicate.Language is a tool for communication.The more frequently we use it,the better we master it.Finally,we are supposed to keep a determined belief that we will master it well and we must accomplish it one day!

The romance of stories

When I was a young child,I was fanscinated with listening to stories.Every night at that time,I must fall asleep accompanied by the sweet voice of my mother,which softly narrated some kind of stories.
As a little girl,What I favored most are definitely fairy tales. I remember there were always a princess and a prince,and the princess wound always be saved by the handsome prince.Furthermore,near all this kind of stories wound end up with princess and prince living happlily forever.As a innocent result,I gradually got fully used to such endings,and thus instinctively got so dissapointed when the the Little Mermaid died in the end in the daughter of the sea that I refused to accept the disturbing finality.Though at present I am aware that the daughter of the sea has been a terrific success of tales tradegy,I wounldn't judge a story in such an reasonably objective manner when I was only 4 or 5 years old.
I didn't care about whether it make sense during the naive childhood,but purely hunt for fairy tales with a pleasant happy ending,whatever how the plots developed in the body,in hope of falling into a as sweet dream as the happy story.

As time went by,the little girl have grown up,and can smoothly get to sleep with no sweet whisper in my ears.I have read and watched a numeber of storis that are regarded as sad tragedies,well understanding the charms lying in the miserable words and sentences.
Nevertheless,I still discovered some thing in common among such a diversity of stories,that is the romance through the whole narrative,which means a feature somewhat unrealistic but full of unexpected plots.
In the end,by the way,do you notice that my English name doris is just a converse of the punctuation of story?It's such a coincidence that rather amazed me several days ago.

  Evening, in the dark blue sky, millions of stars are twinkling around a pure full moon. The big bright moon gives off too much of her rays of light, even making the world seem to be in the daytime.

  Beneath the sky, there is a vast forest. And in the path through the forest, a couple of lovers are enjoying their wonderful walking here.

  “What a beautiful sky!” the girl quickly walks forward and turns around facing the boy. ”So nice, isn’t it?” the girl can’t help praising.

  “Sure it is.” The boy says.

  It is quiet in the forest, and you can only hear some sound made by small insects when you listen carefully.

  After a while of silence, the girl comes up with a good suggestion, “Why not sit on the grass? While enjoying the beautiful moon, we can count the number of the stars. That’s really romantic, isn’t it?”

  But the boy frowns and suspiciously looks at the girl, “Intelligent as you are, I’m wondering, maybe we can just enjoy the beautiful stars and count the moon.”

English learning

After coming to Singapore, I found English becoming more and more important to us PRC students. How to master this language? From my perspective, I think we should bear these two things in mind.
First, enlarge your vocabulary. As far as I am concerned, it is the most important thing because only when you have enough words in mind can you use them to express your own feelings and exchange ideas with others. Similarly, how can you imagine yourself understanding what others are trying to say if you don’t know the meaning of the word they use? As a result, you can see the significance of learning vocabulary. Just remember a few words every day like 10 to 20 according to your own capacity. Also remember to review these words that you have learned maybe once a week or once a month. In a conclusion, combine repetition and reviewing together, which will make you, improve a lot in enlarging your vocabulary.
Another thing is listening to English as often as possible. Never lose any chance to listen to it. For instance, after class you can also talk to your friends in English which will both improve your spoken language and listening. Watching some English videos is also a good choice. By insisting doing this, I am sure you can benefit a lot.
These are the methods which I think are useful. But keep it in mind that if you don’t insist, all the methods are just like rubbish which doesn’t have any impact at all. Try your best and work hard for this language.

as well.

overcome them.While some entrepreneurses do not have long_term perspectives and
they are not able to keep pace with the time,so they are eliminated by the
market eventually.And there are thousands and hundreds of reasons to make
entrepreneous fail.Fortunately,we can find a lot of common things among
successful entrepreneurses.
Generally
speaking,many successful entrepreneurses are couragous,rational, good at
identifying the talent,and the most important manner is that they are addicted
to their work,so even they work day and night continuously under the enomous
stress ,they still can handle it properly,which is quite distinguished from
ordinary people.
Therefore,
we can draw a safe conclusion that no matter whether you like the successful
entrepreneouses or not in person.We should respect them,bacause they do have taken
great efforts that we can not afford to gain what they wanted.In addition,there
is no use complaining how unfair the world is.If you think so,why not try to
work hard to gain what you want.It will prove everthing.So let’s do our best
