Where there are friends, there is happiness
Friends reserve many experiences of us. We may lose ourselves when we go through a lot in society, but the friends will make us behave ourselves and believe in ourselves. They know what kind of person we really are because we have spent so much time together. Also, when we talk about the past time together many years later, we will be surprised to hear what we have done and feel fortunate to have shared the golden times of each other.
Friends stand by us when we are in difficulties. When we feel lonely in an unfamiliar environment, we can share the happiness and sadness in life with our old friends who will always be with us. Making friends in a new place helps us to adapt to the environment, because we can grow together and overcome difficulties with each others’ help. If we have problems, friends are ready to help and encourage us.
Friends make life more meaningful. When you enjoy snack or entertainment with friends, you will have more fun than enjoy them by yourself. Friends are trying to make your life happy. Life will be monopoly without the laughters and jokes among friends. When you can help your friends, you will also feel satisfied .
Friends are important to us in our life. We cannot forget the old friends or ignore the new friends. When you offer your love to the world, the love will be returned. Only if you offer your friendliness, can friends come to you. Therefore, we should be willing to make friends because where there are friends, there is happiness.

These days, I have saw a lot of states posted on 'renren', a chat tool famous in China. These are all about the feelings and experiences in grade three in senior high school. It reminds me a lot about my own experiences. As I can not get back home to celebrate the one-year commemoration with my classmates, I want to write about something in my blog and share with you.
At first, I want to introduce a little bit about my senior high school. It is a elite school with 100 years history. It ranks top one for several times in jiangsu province on the ranking list of college entrance examination. So I am really proud of it.
Then, I want to talk about the life in school. Grade three is extremely a tough period of life. We have to face the huge pressure from the entrance exam. We study hard and help each other selflessly, so, we gradually get rid of ranking the last. Also, our life is not rarely focused on Studying, we always tantalise and chase each other after class. When it comes to saturday, we sometimes slip out to play football when we know teachers do not have time to monitor us.
Some of my classmates are crazy about make nicknames to others, so, almost all of us have at least one nicknames. Actually, i am a typical victim as I have many nicknames like 'Cui Niu ' 'pi pi'(arse in English ) ' maths genius' . Cui Niu is the
Most wildly used. And I want to talk about 'pi pi'. I do not know the origin of this name but what is interesting is that the person who give me the name also name another three persons and she makes four of us form a team called 'pi gu gang men' and force us to put these names in use.
i really value this period of time. so i choose to share with you.

English Speaking
First I think the consideration of structure is not wrong, but I am little in lack of proficiency. I need to be more familiar with more structures and reduce the time to think of one. That will need accumulation of some common structures and good sentences. Even though this kinds of recitation is not flexible, I think it is a good way to help us be fluent in daily communication as a beginning. Second, sometimes I don't know how to translate the words in Chinese into English when speaking. The translation is also habit that people won't accept it as a good language learning method. But I think if a person can translate as he like and avoid some common errors, he has been very efficient in communication. The problem is we don't have enough words or collocations to use. So it requires us to memorize more words and phrases. We can take notes when we are watching the English-speaking movies or series and review them afterwards. The meanings and usages of the new words are also very important, so we could look them up and take them down on our vocabulary notebook. The third one is that I should practice more in class. I should not be silent because it will do nothing good to myself. In addition, I used to feel good about my tones and pronunciation of speaking but I recently found I'm not very good at it, especially compared to some English-speakers. So maybe I can record my voice regularly and find the defects and change them, but it is not very easy. These ways sound good, but if we don't follow them, actually they are of no use.
Days are passing by. If we don't make progress every day, then when will we make a change. I think I will pay more attention on English learning and try to practice more on speaking.

Some good thoughts

My reflection about Murphy's Law
Actually, the event triggers me to reflect deeply on the Law. To begin with, according to Murphey, if an event has some negative effect or tendency, there is always a tendency for the item to develop towards the worst result and end in biggest loss. Though the law sounds pessimistic, as for a student to learn engineering or computing, there is no bad for me to keep in mind all the time about the possible failure. Only in this way, can I stimulate myself to always pursue the best and never to be satisfied with what I have already achieved. And remember to pay attention to every subtle detail.
In addition, the Law also reminds me that nothing is as simple as how it shows on the superficial layer. When the event seems like process smoothly into one direction, we'd better keep an eye on the opposite negative aspect. Gradually, it will be of great benefits to develop the habit of opposite thinking method, which will help use to consider a broader spectrum. As a result, we can finish the work efficiently and perfectly.
Generalized, from my experience of losing my water bottle, I reflect a lot and harvest a lot. The loss of the water bottle seems worthwhile. So, next time when we do something, to be optimistic is right but it is also beneficial to consider the worst result.

Why Chinese people are crazy about owning a car
Why Chinese people are crazy about owning a car
In class, our tutor has mentioned that Singaporeans are now very crazy about owning a car even it means they have to pay nearly $
To begin with, in
Then I want to mention that many people have a sense that it has been a noble symbol if you own a car. Though it is unreasonable but it really becomes a “common sense”, what is more, the type of cars you own can and the decorations in your car reflect your style to some extent. Cars have become another way for people to compare themselves with others and get a feeling of satisfaction.
The third one is just like what has been mentioned in a reading comprehension, a car can be our friend along with a safe and cozy shelter. Living at present leaves people a lot of burden and pressure, sometimes, they may feel very insure and be dying for comfort and protect. In this case, the small but suitable volume of a car can provide them such feelings. With its strong ironed hull, it can calm people down and be happy to sit in it in order to withdraw from the high-stressed society for a while.
In my opinion, wanting to have a car is not only a fad but going to be a fashion. What we need to do is to think twice before we make a choice to buy it since the cost will not be easy to afford.
The choice of my major
The choice of my major
When I was in
However, this thought put a lot pressure on me which I could not put up with. Frankly speaking, I did not expect myself to put all my energy into this bridging course and excused myself for needing time to be used to this brand new environment. Fortunately, MOE provided us many chances to learn more about each majors in case that we are not careful enough to make our choice. At one of those lectures, I found that maybe I just too dived into superficial features and did not really consider about my own interests. After realizing this, digging into my innermost interest became the most important task.
The second barrier I have to break down is my bias on engineering. I never thought being an engineer was a proper career for a girl because what it requires is too hard for a girl. Nevertheless, I suddenly learnt that it was difficult for us SM3 students to go overseas to continue our study. And then in this case, how can a graduate be put importance on if you do not get enough education? I had to admit that I was very desperate when finding this out on account that one of my dreams is to go to another country, go to another prestigious university to enjoy the studying ambiance there. But all I could do was to change my mind again and found an alternative path for me and my future.
At present, I have chosen to major in civil engineering. In fact, I am very satisfied with this temporary choice which may be changed again in unpredicted future. I used to be a person who hated changing my mind, but now I found that it was better to change while I am learning new things everyday.

Do not always stay indoors
Do not always stay indoors
With the rapid development of technology, more and more young people prefer to stay at home instead of going outside. As a matter of fact, not a single reason contributes to this popular phenomenon.
Of course, the most obvious one is the convenience of computers offers them a platform to push their life forward without going outside. According to an interview to such indoors men, they grant that with computers, they are able to do anything they want without even moving. On the Internet, chatting or going shopping can be done with browsing some websites and keying some words.
Additionally, this habit of refusing to go outdoors reflects those people’s fear or tiredness of communicating with people in reality to a certain degree. Worse still, it can also reveal an eager to separate from the society. They dislike being surrounded by plenty of other people, in other words, social network only happens between friends online.
As far as I am concerned, it’s not a wise idea to keep staying indoors. Actually, I am a typical indoors woman, going out no matter for shopping or enjoying the landscape is not usual for me. Staying all day in my dormitory means that I can organize a whole day without being disturbed, it is an exciting thing for me. This notion keeps me inside for a long period, to tell the truth, the day won’t work out just like what I planned at the beginning. Worse still, the outcome is always that I waste an entire day without doing anything meaningful. Sometimes, to make the day a real indoors day, I will even quit having lunch or breakfast in the canteen just downstairs, which makes me hungry when I am doing something else. In addition, after staying in my dormitory for a week, there will be some difficulties for me to chat with people in reality.
To sum up, though staying indoors has been a popular phenomenon, it’s also an unhealthy life style to some extent. So just come out and explore the wonderful world outside, it is a suggestion for all of us.

The phobia about making a choice
Why do those people have that kind of attitude towards making a choice? There are mainly three reasons account for this phobia. The first reason is that, nowadays, more and more people are pursuing perfect. That's why they force themselves to weigh up every alternatives, make a multiple choice and imagine the result in a romantic way, being afraid of facing with the reality. The second reason is focus on the young generation who grew up in a well-developed society under the caring of parents. They are accustomed to obeying their parental guidance; in other words, the young generation depend more on their parents to make crucial decision for them, for fear of bearing the responsibilities of the consquent results by themselves as the decision maker. Finally, thanks to the great variety of alternatives for choosing, people who are lacking of experience may feel lost.
Media and Censorship
In the modern society, media has become more and more important to act as the role of investigating the behavior of government officers . In fact, media can extremely let these people behave well.
Here are some reasons.
At first, media can expose the wrong behavior of the officers to the public immediately so that it can let them be more careful about their behavior and amend their mistakes as soon as possible. Also, to some extent, media can avoid corruption. For example, if an officer crimes, media can let the public know the judgment that the judge makes. As a result, it can effectively avoid the situation in which the officer does not be punished because of the relationship he has.
What's more, the media can also represent the public to ask the officers some significant questions that the public are concerned about. In other words, it is much easier for people to know what will the officers do to benefit them. In this way, people can judge whether the officers are responsible or not more directly.
However, what i have said above does not mean that medias are of no disadvantages. Medias also cause a lot of problems. The private life of the officers are totally disturbed so that their lives are full of worry. To illustrate, annually, a lot of officers are resigned because of the burden made by medias. Also, sometimes, the reports made by medias are so exaggerated that the truths are diverged.
To sum up, medias can help us investigate behavior of the officer effectively but we should not abuse them.
