unforgettable period

Bridging course is coming to the end; I have experienced an unforgettable period. I remembered that the first time when I came into the small classroom, I felt curious and a little nervous, because I needed to face to many strangers, including our tutors. But only a few days later, the only feeling left was happy. I was happy to have seventeen lovely new friends and four erudite tutors. I was happy to have this small classroom which likes our home in Singapore. Everyday I learnt many new things from our patient and humorous tutors. For our leader Ms Khoo, she is very humorous. In her class, even a little thing, she can teach us in a vivid way which makes us study happily. For Ms Leo, her knowledge is bottomless, each time I communicated with her; I could enjoy her intellectual opinions. For Meena, she always tells us to be confident and makes us work in group, which helps us learn how to work with others. For Viven, she only has one morning with us per week, but I can also learn many things from her. She is very amiable. For my dear classmates, Shuwei and Kaiwen, you are my two buddies; we eat together, study together, play together and help each other. Monitor, you are a lovely girl who brings our class many happy things, just like what jiadong had said, you make our class like a family. Wangzi, Taining and Wu yue, I admire your wisdom, your eloquence and knowledge are impressive. For Xiaoxuan, Jiadong and Shuman, we are in the same research group, I am glad to work with you. I know I am very lazy, so sorry for my mistakes and thank you for your hard work. Anyway, we are a happy group, and I think we will get a good mark. I cannot write all of you, but each of you is my good friends that I will never forget. I will treasure every minutes in the left bridging course with you. And I hope that we can be good friends forever and all of us will succeed in the future.

The meaning of life

One day, I talked with our befriender about religion. She asked me what your meaning of life is. I thought for a while and said just having fun. She said is it superficial and shallow. Now, I want to say something to for myself.

First of all, if we live a suffering life rather than a happy life, we must regret when we are about to die. It is the happy life that we can really enjoy. In addition, people may say as a person, we must have some ambitions and some goals to follow, such as a large sum of money or high authority. Personally, I can hardly agree with it. Although there is no doubt we need some money to guarantee our life, we do not need to put too much burden on ourselves. Perhaps being satisfied is better for us. Besides, different people have different definition about joy. Just like kongzi, he liked to try his best to help the country become better, help the people live better life, while laozi preferred to ride a cattle in the countryside freely and enjoy the peaceful life. All of us should go after the ideal life we want instead of being influenced or bounded by others, just like Juexin in home, brave enough to pursue what he wanted.

However, having fun does not mean you can not care about others at all or even do harm to others. Think about it, if you hurt others, will you still be happy? Will you feel guilty about it? Furthermore, having fun does not mean you can do anything you want regardless of results like gambling. You may have fun at that moment when you gamble, but it is not permanent. When we choose what to do to have fun, we must think about what we can get and what it will cost so that we can make a more sensible choice.

In conclusion, having fun is my view to life. No matter what your view is, I hope all of you can achieve it.

I write this blog for all of you~

Inspired by mengnan, I also want to write something about our group. I still remember that the first time I saw every one’s name on the list, I felt disappointed because the only person I knew was yunsheng. But I told myself: never mind, I should treasure it as a chance to make more friends. At that time, wangzi was the person I wanted to know about most, because she is beautiful ~ later, our dear monitor became the person I wanted to rely on. Time flies, and I want to say that I really enjoyed the six-month time being with all of you. I believe you also feel the same as me. During class, we exchange opinions and dreams; After class we share our stories, feelings and comfort each other. In this unfamiliar country, we become brothers and sisters. We share the same love to our country and the same feeling of missing our families. Without you, I don’t know whether I can enjoy my life here. Sometimes, watching cars passing by during night, I feel that I don’t belong to this city, but thankfully, group 3 becomes the home to all of us. There are many people I want to say thank you to.

yunsheng : thank you for borrowing me the Tshirt when I got wet~

wangzi thank you for accompanying me to carry out my crazy ideas especially going to sentosa at night~

tianya :thank you for taking fantastic pictures of me~

anti-xiaoxuan group( kaiwen, shuwei, tianhang) : though you three always bully me, I know we are friends. I know you are the people I can turn to when I need help, aren’t you?~

shuman: thank you for giving me the courage to like the person I like~

jiadong: thank you for paying so much effort on our research project~

monitor: as I once said, you keep me from being alone. I enjoy your company. You know me a lot and can even read my feelings. Having you as my friend is such a gift to me.

I know that we have to be realistic that friends cannot be together forever, but I hope when we enter NUS, we will still greet each other whenever we meet. My dear friends, I wish you all the best!! You know I love you !! Please do not forget me !!

prison break

Prison break
Recently, I have watched an American series called prison break. In its first season, it tells how Scofield went into prison and broke his innocent brother out of prison to save his life. I have to say its plot is really fluctuating. However, it matches the complex situation in prison where everything can happen.
At first, Scofield didn’t have a good relationship with his brother. He is a full time engineer and has steady income; however, his brother doesn’t have a job and cause troubles everywhere. But when knowing the fact that the money he got for study actually came from his brother and his brother was innocent, he was determined to save his brother out. And after a long period’s careful research and planning, Scofield did a thing out of all of his friends’ expectation that he turned himself into the prison by grabbing a bank. As soon as he entered the prison, his rescue plan went on. In the entire process of his plan, I have seen his super intelligence. Many unexpected things can happen in the place called Fox River prison; however, none of them had stopped Scofield from his plan. Finally, he made it. He successfully saved his brother out and more challenges are waiting for him.
Scofied is a man without many words. He thinks much. And when a man can plan carefully, somehow I think he has the power to predict the future, because he planned so well that all the things happen as his plan. Thus, the outcome will not be far from his expectation. This is one key point that helps Scofield to achieve his plan, also a point that I appreciate.
At last, I’d like to recommend prison break to all of you.

looking forward to May 5

This Friday, my parents will come to Singapore and will stay here for 6 days. I cannot control my excitement when I heard the news that my parents have already bought the air ticket. It has been nearly 6 months since I come here in Singapore. During the 6 months, although I have a video conversation with my parents almost every day, I still miss them so much, especially when I was alone. Frankly speaking, I had never remained in residence, even never gone to nightly self- study for a single day at school before. So this is the first time that I left the shelter from my parents and began a totally new form of life. You can imagine how hard it is for me to adapt to the completely new environment in another country at first. But in general, I really changed much during the last 6 month. In the study life abroad, I learned how to be independent. I had to manage my study as well as my daily life. I learned to how to handle the great stress and competition in study. Nobody will supervise my study anymore. Everything must be totally by my self-conscious. I also learned to bear solitude. Not every time I have friends to rely on. Sometimes I had to face some problems by myself. In this process, I think I became mature more or less.
Now there are only 4 days before my parents’ coming. I have made a lot of plan for them. I hope they can enjoy their 6-day staying here although it seems a little short for me. I will take them to the Singapore flyer, Sentosa, Singapore zoo and so on. And also I will let them have a taste of the delicious and typical food here. My parents have done so much for my on the road of my life. I hope I can make use of this opportunity to accompany with them and set their minds at rest about my life abroad. 5 May is coming soon and I am really looking forward to picking them up at the airport!!!

Self-management in university

In recent years, university students’ pressure on finding jobs has aroused extensive concern. Many people think that the reason is the increasing number of university students. However, in my opinion, the poor quality of university students is the leading reason. Many university students do not know how to arrange their daily life in universities. That is why they achieve nothing during the precious four years. Thus, self-management is really important for every university student. Self-management can be concluded in the following three aspects: designing future, enriching personal thought and doing exercise. Setting a goal is of vital importance. Students who have a clear aim know what they want to be and what they need to do. They plan their future according to their dreams. They work hard at classes and spend free time in improving abilities which they need. On the contrary, other students do not know what they like to do; the life of them is vacuous. They waste time in playing online games, skipping classes for more sleep, refusing others’ suggestions. Day by day, they become lazier and more selfish. Finally, they feel lonely in this world and are isolated by the society. So, having a clear goal is really important for every university student. Someone ever said, ‘People are great, because they have thought.’ Four years of university is the key period for everyone to deepen their

thought. A thoughtful man can judge what is right or wrong. There are many new fears and challenges in our life. As a student, we must distinguish clearly by ourselves what we need to cultivate independent thought. Except learning knowledge of our major, we need contact with the outside world by reading newspaper and magazines. Sometimes, we find opportunities to communicate with some thoughtful people like our teachers or dear friends. In this way, our thought will be enriched and our mind will become mature. To be a thoughtful man is what every university student need to do. Keeping good health is crucial for everyone. We university students need to do exercise to build a strong body and strengthen our mind to have a good mental health. Nowadays, university students are too lazy to have outside activities. Someone even skip PE classes, which lead to their fatness and laziness. If they carry on in this way, they’ll have a poor body for their future job. They will be easy to get sick and have no enough energy for work. Mental health is also significant for university students. Society is full of competition. We have to face different challenges in our work. A good mental condition can help us overcome difficulties. It is no doubt that a good health is of great importance for us. In a word, Self-management in university is my top concern. I believe, if we can manage ourselves correctly, many years later, we will be winners in our fields!

Please don't forget Jay--our idol

One thing sad is that, as we grow up, our idols grow old. Do you have an idol in your childhood? Will your hero fade from your memory when he is no longer handsome and popular?

I believe most of us have admired Jay Zhou more or less or at least are impressed of his one or two songs. Despite the reason that his song is of a unique style, I do think people love his songs because he writes about our stories and he sings out our feelings.

As for me, I respect Jay a lot. He is definitely talented. I can see logic through his songs. Each song is a story talking about sadness, happiness…He is by no means handsome to me but when he is on stage, he is so confident making me believe that he is the king of music. Also, he always insists on being himself and singing in his own style even at that time when no one appreciates his works. He never stops his pursuing towards music allowing him to enjoy a high reputation. However, after dominating the music scene for more than ten years, he is now sometimes overwhelmed by singers who are younger. Some of us criticize that his inspiration has dried up but I firmly believe that Jay can never be replaced by others. He influenced our whole generation; he subverted people’s understanding about music; he is Jay Zhou.

When we grow up, we may suddenly realize that the person we admire is not so perfect as we imagined. However, the memory he gave us, the changes he made on us and that period of time he accompanied us were gifts of our childhood. So, never criticize your hero only because you don’t like him anymore.

Be a Transformer in your heart

Two hundred years ago, the Danish thinker Kierkegaard suffered from poverty throughout his whole life and his life was pretty short as well. However, due to his strong heart, his life was full of happiness. Happiness like this may be difficult for common people to understand. But actually, people who have a strong heart are actually a noble in spirit. So try to be a Transformer in your heat, you can harvest more throughout your life.
Modern society, everyone is facing heavy social pressure from business, physical health and family. Many people feel discouraged and hurt when they come across problems like misunderstanding or frustration. But actually no one can hurt you if you are the people with a strong heart. They do not live in other people’s eyes. Even if all the people misunderstand him and isolate him, he can still cope with his life calmly and firmly.
In fact, everyone can be hurt. Life is quite equal. The difference is that some people known how to comfort himself and conquer all the fear. In the life of any time don't be afraid to start again because each a seemingly low point in life is on the path to a higher peak. Pain and happiness has nothing to do with the external material but your state of mind. We may have nothing temporarily. But it does not mean you have nothing in your heart. We can anguish, can be lost, but cannot show inner emptiness.
So no matter what you do, remember to build a strong heart first. Do not always rely on the giving from others. We should always know that happiness and joy are given by ourselves. So be a Transformer in your heart and enjoy your life to the full.

Be brave to try

Nowadays, you may think that our life is boring and tough. We are living in the routine. Every day, we get up , eat breakfast, study, eat lunch, study, eat dinner, study and then, go to bed. Everything repeat again and again. So many people are always looking forward to  the future. When in the class, they may think about the break time. When in the vacation, they may want to go to school and stay with friends. Why?  They are trapped in the routine and have no courage to try something new and find the fun of life. Actually, I think the joy of life is to break the rules and find something that we have not tried before. A famous writer Jack London had a fulfilled life and he had tried a lot of things that many people dare not. I think he should be very content and without pity when he passed away although he lived for only 40 years. During the Chinese New Year, I installed an operating system called "Ubuntu"on my computer(though failed) because I thought that I should try something new instead of being the exactly same as  others to use Win7 only. Although I failed and also lost lots of my important pictures, documents and software, I am still happy because I can try something new while many people are still accustomed to using Win7. By the way, I also enjoyed the process of installing it.
We should be brave to try something new and try to break the routine. Be brave enough to have a special day--it is not only a kind of experience but also a kind of attitude.
Few days ago, I reread the novel <Le Petit Prince>. Although I have read it once before, I felt I was shocked for the first time. In the story, everything was exaggerated--there was a so small planet on which there could be only one resident, an emperor who only ruled himself, an accountant who counted stars for day and night, however, we should, or we must learn something from it.
In the story, the little boy travelled to different planets in the space. He saw all kinds of grown-ups who were busy, crazy about money, eagle to possess, artificial and arrogant. The little prince hated them.Actually, we all hate these kinds of people so-called "grown-ups" and those terrible characteristics. However, I have to say that, we are indeed changing in this way. When I was a very small child, I dreamt about growing up. But now I don't want to. Just like what little prince said:"The grown-ups are lack of imagination."
We are growing up, but we should still have a pure and simple heart. Our life is used to enjoy the scenery instead of chasing the wealth and fame which will finally come out to be useless. At the first of the life journey, many people are simple just like the little prince, but during the journey, they start to pretend, to be blind and vain.
I hope, one day, before I am too old, I can sit in a small seat and watch the sunset 43 times for all day long. I hope I can also have a friend like the small rose, though she hurts me, she will be my friend forever.

My thoughts about human cloning

My thoughts about human cloning
Since the birth of Dolly, nowadays, there have been many cases of animal cloning. Then how about human cloning? If cases of animal cloning can succeed, human cloning will not be a big problem. However, there has been none case of human cloning nowadays, because it may result in a series of ethical problems. So although I am really interested in human cloning, I can hardly get to know about human cloning in reality. But for me to think about human cloning is still an interesting thing.
I can clearly remember the feeling of excitement when I first heard about cloning and knew that it might help to create another me. At that time I thought if I could create a new me through cloning then when I went home, there would be no need for me to do my homework since there was another me. I would ask him to do my homework and sometimes when my mum asked me to do some housework I could still ask him to do for me. Then all the things that I hated to do would go to him and I would only do the things that I was interested in. At that time I really considered that having a cloned me was really a good thing.
However, gradually I found that the good thing I considered when I was young was not as simple as what I thought. I began to consider more. If the cloned me was exactly the same as me, then how about his thoughts. Whether would we have the same thoughts in our minds or whether what emerged in my mind would instantly be known by him? Would there be two me in the world? I began to fear. And from some movies I became even afraid that one day the cloned me might kill the real me and take the place of me.
Today in class we have talked something about human cloning. And when asked about whether or not we were in favor of human cloning, I chose to be in favor of it. There are many people who are against it thinking that it may cause many ethical problems in our society. But I think since the future is unpredictable and human cloning may bring great contributions to our society, why don’t we have a try. It may sound absurd. However, it’s just what I think. And I believe human cloning will bring some unexpected results to the world.

About future

Once I have
chatted with our Mengnan about the major. She told me that she wanted to major
in Maths and learn economy, therefore she will be more likely to find a job in
banks, which is exactly what my father wants me to do. I start wandering what I
really want to do. I keep choosing Maths just because I don’t like any
recitation at all, and I do enjoy the process of calculation although I don’t
like geometry. Some people enjoy the aggressive competition in Wall Street,
however I don’t like this kind of working atmosphere, because it is hard for me
to adapt to the cold relationship with colleagues, which is the same reason why
I don’t want to be involved in politics. Even though my father said the
combination of economy and politics is the best cooperation. As far as what I
have imagined, I hope I can do some work with friendly co-workers, because I
fiercely believe that as long as we have good moods, we can manage the work no
matter how hard and intensive it is. The most important thing is that I want to
travel all around the world in order to see what the whole world looks like. I
don’t want to keep staying at one place without trying anything until I go to
the heaven. I hope I will never forget it and not delay the planning for the
job, because many people tend to forget their dreams due to the work. In my
opinion, work is existence rather than life, while the dreams are our own
lives. I hope all of us can grasp our dreams and never lose them.

life and dream

Too many things happened this week , all pushing me to think about my life and my dream. I do want to share with you what I have found out during this week. When I was young, my dream was to become a dubber, a DJ, or an editor of a fashion magazine, none of which has anything to do with science or engineering. However, when I had to choose between art and science, I followed my mother’s suggestion and said goodbye to those fantasy. Later, I watched a Korean drama “ Smile Again” and I wanted to be a perfumer as the handsome man did in the drama. But then I realized that this was not practical because there is no such major in china. So when I chose my major, I followed my father’s will and applied for Sense Remoting. Now, I have one more chance to decide my life on my own, but I find myself confused about what kind of life I want and what I am good at. I want to study food but the strict admission requirements give me much pressure. I even sometimes think that if I can live my life all over again, I would rather be a student who has
special talent in music or art but not good at study than be a boring “good student”. All these concerns ruined the first few days of the week. Luckily, I ridded myself of this melancholy mood after a chat with my sister. I got to understand that when you are complaining your life there must be someone else praying that her life could be like yours. Furthermore, when we were young, we chose a road of life for ourselves, now what we should do is to go down this road and try to appreciate the beautiful sceneries beside you. Sometimes we may feel tired and start to feel pity for the beautiful views that we have missed. But don’t forget to refresh yourself and set up again. Looking forward to tomorrow’s happiness is one thousand times better than regretting for yesterday’s sorrow. Let’s cheer for ourselves, tomorrow is another day!

Education in China

Yesterday, a piece of news caught our attention that a all-round student criticized the education system of China in the ritual of lifting the national flag(this is a very important ritual in Chinese schools on every Monday.). He said that the creativity of Chinese students is the worst in the global world. At the first sight of this kind of incident, you may feel it astonishing and unbelievable. However, I think it is true and many Chinese students will think so. Every year, we can see a lot of cases in which a student jump off the teaching building because the stress or the blame, especially during the entrance examination of university. For instance, last year two students jumped because they were late for few minutes for the exam.It is very sad but it is happening.Millions of students are studying and they have to face to millions of opponents. They are asked to do thousands of exercises and never give up. They bear the hope of the whole family. Although Chinese students may have a strong ability to calculate, many of them have lost the ability to think without the text book. It is the failure of the Chinese education. There is no any Nobel Winner who have received education in China. It can also illustrate that Chinese education is not suitable for this age and it urges revolution.

Charity is an attitude

Recently, in the service learning program, we got the homework, which was to collect some money to help some orphans in the children care center. When we first heard that we had to collect 250 dollars in total, we were really bewildered. It is true that 250 dollars was not a small amount for us to make in such a short time. After our discussion, we decided to hold a fundraising in campus. So in the evening that day after 2 hours’ efforts, we managed to make a box, a poster and a board. However in fact, we felt quite upset before we begin the donation because we were really not sure whether we only 5 people, with such simple equipment can be convincing enough to let people donate their money to us. However, beyond our expectation, what we received was far more than we had expected, which really touched me deeply. Nearly everyone passed by donate their money more or less. It is really incredible to think so many people who even do not know much about us and our charity organization just donate their money without any hesitation. They just give their money spontaneously.
I think doing charity is actually the responsibility of everyone in the society. Everyone should do something useful to help others. Nobody can foresee what tomorrow will be like. If you today refuse to give your hand to others, maybe tomorrow you will get stuck into trouble and others will not help you out. However, vice versa. Thus, if you are able to do something to others or have the chance to contribute your love, please do not hesitate, just go for it, just do it. Maybe you think what you do is tiny to change something. But in fact, you are spreading your love and spirit to the world, which cannot be weighed through anything like money. Charity shortens the distance between people; charity makes people no longer feels cold; charity makes the whole world full of love. Charity is actually very simple. Maybe it is just one dollar, just an encouragement or even a big smile. These are all things that you can do without taking you much efforts. I am sure with the charity from every one of us, the world can be brighter and warmer.

Realize my dream

When we want to achieve something ,we should make our effort and try our best.Of course ,the most important thing is persistance. Many people start with much passions ,but after a while ,they will feel it boring and get depressed for it.Then they suspect themselves and lose heart. All that hinder us to be successful.
So I think I learn a lesson from all kind of instances .I am not sure whether I can hold on my belief, but I try my best.I have set up a goal ,which may be a bit deal, and I won't give up until I finish it ! It's true.
In my opinion,an individual can't complete all the things;an individual can't do well in all the things;an individual can't face all the difficults and solve them pefrectly.A team show its strength in such situations. In a team ,everyone has his advantages and disadvantages,a man could make up for his disadvantages with other people's advantages,so we say "1+1>2",that is to say a team can have much more influences and impacts than a man did.
Third,a idiom says "give makes better than get".Every time I help a person ,I always have a feeling of satisfaction, which comes from the behavior . I can' tell the feeling, but it's charming .I can't get out of it since I taste the wonderful sense.
Here I share my personal point of view.I don't want to cheat any of you .I just have something to talk. I hope I make progress constantly until I achieve my goals.
I have a dream ! I can realize it someday!

Father

Today, we talked about the importance of
father. Hearing classmates share their opinions about their fathers, I can’t stop
wandering about how I think about my father. It may hear sad that since I was a
child, my father has always been busy on business and I have been at boarding
school rarely staying at home. They may not know everything about me, however,
in fact I have never felt lonely and abandoned, since they do care about me in
different aspects. Speaking of father, almost all of people who have worked know
he is really strict and may be fear of him, which I cannot deny at all.
Nevertheless, I do love him and feel grateful for all he has done for me. He
lets me do almost all of the decisions as long as it obeys his principle; he
help me build up my value of life and do what he can to support me; he is the
one I can turn to help whenever I need without worrying about whether he can
handle it; he always hold my hand whenever I’m around him making me feel I’m
his little girl no matter how old I am. I fiercely believe everyone has a wonderful
father who loves you deeply although they may show their love in different
ways. After all, please be grateful for your parents at any time in case one
day you want to tell your parents how you love them, but you do not have any
chance at all. Take action right now and never make yourself regret.

Dream 2

Dream 2
In my last blog, I have said that I shall dream a dream in which as the main character I will be a person who was born without dreams. However, sadly I haven’t accomplished the assignment I gave to myself and I have to admit that sometimes it’s really hard to dream the dream you want. But, ironically today when I recalled my last blog, an idea flashed through my brain. If I want to figure out what will people be like if they are born without dreams, why not just consider about myself though not a precise way yet the only way as people are all born with dreams? And since sometimes I had no dreams through the whole night, then from what I would feel, what I would be like and in what strange way I would behave maybe I could find out my answer.
First, I would like to describe what I will feel or in what strange way I will behave if I have suffered a night without dreams. I push myself hard to recall all the situations every time I got up without dreams however finally give up with the answer that I am really a normal person. I seldom behaved strangely or had some strange feelings when I got up without dreams. But is this enough to say that if people are born without dreams they will be the same as the people nowadays and there will be no differences?
I think it’s hardly enough to make such assertion. However, as an individual, I can only gather information from myself. Also I can only observe myself though in a more careful way to detect every slight change in my mind or behavior. And in this way, I think my guess about people without dreams will be nearer the truth.
Now it’s time to make a prediction. If people are born without dreams, somehow I think they will be the same as the people today. First, as a normal people, I seldom consider carefully about my dreams and sometimes I could hardly recall my dreams. In the morning, I will wake up and while enjoy the bright sunshine I shall figure out what should I do today. Should I go out to play, then where to go? Or should I study, then which book to start? These are all the questions that once appeared will squeeze out all the impression of my last night’s dream. And when I am engaged in my daily life, it’s even more difficult to make me think about my dreams. And when considering about all these, for the first time I realize that dreams really play a small role in our life and to some extent I just ignore them. However, sometimes a good dream can make me feel happy in the morning and a nightmare makes me feel terrible. But all these are temporary effects, and now I can hardly remember when I last time had a nightmare what I had dreamed about?
People in the past consider dreams seriously; they thought dreams were derived from divine. Nevertheless, people nowadays consider little about this. So if people are born without dreams then I think they will just skip the process in human’s history when people were spending time to explore dream. Also some influence brought to human from this process may not exist and some scientists who study dreams may have nothing to think. And all these are my guess about what will people be like if they are born without dreams.

A good Sunday

Last week, I have experienced a good Sunday with my friends. We were arranged to go to the Singapore zoo for our “service program” which I thought would be a boring activity before I went there. The first thing which changed my mind was the handsome leader who was a very successful business man. He organized us and divided us into different groups in which period he did his job with patience and passion all the time. We were all attracted by his charming voice and persuasive sentences. When he introduced the program to us, he asked us what meaningful contribution was. After listening to our different answers, he told us that we all lived in society and even a small success we had achieved could not realize without society. So we all needed to do something for our society and that was meaningful contribution. Another important thing I had learned from him was how to make a plan. We did an interesting game which was to change three boys and girls’ order using as little time as we could. After that game he said: “Plan is very important, if you don’t have a plan, you are planning to die.” He was such a philosophical man who can have this philosophical saying. I thought deeply for what he said and realized that I should make some changes to my life style. And another interesting thing was what I heard from a little boy. When we looked the tigers in the zoo, a kid asked his father what were they thinking about. Of course, he meant the tigers. I was very surprised that the boy could have such an interesting question. I thought only children could ask what the tigers are thinking about. The cute boy made me think of my childhood… We also had a good lunch and took many photos that day. I think it is good day. I not only had fun in the zoo, but also learned many things from the handsome man and even the little boy.

The education I received from my family

It is believed that the education one received makes him who he is. I think, the “education” here refers to the family education because it starts to shape one’s character as soon as he is born which is different from the school education. And I want share with you something about my family and the education I received from my parents. My mother is a procurator and my father woks in a company. They are very traditional and they are very strict with me. (I believe this has something to do with their major, they both study law.) I now sometimes complain that I didn’t have a light-hearted childhood since I have to attend extra classes when I was 4 and I don’t feel confident because they never feel satisfied with what I have achieved. However I feel thankful that they taught me to behave well, have a serious attitude towards study and learn lessons from the failure. Furthermore, they trained me to be an honest and self-disciplined girl. I can talk with them openly to express my thought, I can refer to them whenever I am in a dilemma instead of heading my difficulties from them. I am proud of who I am though I know I am far away from perfect. I know I really beneifted from the education I received from my parents.
