The time we spent together

Time goes by, and our six-month English bridging course is coming to the end. I think it good to spend a happy time with all members in group 3.

In these five months, we have a lot of unforgettable memory together. When we went to the beach in the recess week, we were caught by a heavy rain when we rode bike and everyone got wet. Xiaoxuan was so lucky to borrow a dry T-shirt from Yunsheng. After dinner, we sat in a circle on the beach to play games. It is a fascinating game and many people had to do some embarrassing things. And on 1st of May, we had hot pot in RV hostel. On the morning of that day, our three boys with monitor and Xiaoxuan went to supermarket to buy many things for lunch. It is interesting to do shopping, although in the end we cannot eat them at all. Furthermore, killer game is also a special activity in our group. We always play it during the noon and monitor is the person who is almost taken away by the hunter.

Five months is not a long time, but it leads us to know and make friends with each other. Although we may not study in the same classroom in the future, our friendship will keep forever.

Teamwork

Long time ago, there were two poor men who suffered a lot from starvation. A kind old man decided to help them. He offered them two things: a basket of fish and a fishing rod, each of which was chosen by one of the poor men. The two poor men got what they wanted with great joy and went on their different roads. The man who got the basket of fish finished the fish immediately without knowing the taste of them. He soon became hungry again and died before long time. The other poor man who got the fishing rod also died because of starvation before he managed to reach the seaside. Another time and another two poor men got the same help from the old man. They did not separate from each other and decided to find the sea together. They shared the basket of fish and finally reached their destination. Then they started their fishing life with the fishing rod.

This is a story about team work. Teamwork is an efficient way to finish the tasks. Working as a team and helping each other can let people make full use of the strong points and make up the weak points. These two points are equally important. The power of a team not only depends on its members’ strong points but also on its members’ weak points.

There is a principle in management: If a wooden bucket is made of several wooden boards whose length is not equal to each other’s, the maximum volume of it will depend on the shortest board. Though the other boards are very long, the water will flow out through the shortest board.

This is the same situation of a team. Thus, learning to help each other is an important thing to lift the power of a team.

Once upon a time, a little boy wanted to shift a washing machine to get the paper under it. No matter how hard he tried, the machine did not even move a centimeter. He told his father that he had tried his best and used all his power to shift it but the father told him that he had not. He told his son that you had not come to ask for my help and I also was a kind of power of you.

Asking for help also is very important in a team. Not all the time others will offer you help initiatively. Asking for help is an efficient way to make up the weak points of a team. Next time you meet some problem in the teamwork, do not be shy, just say it out and that will help your team a lot.

Treasure Your Love

Yesterday we talked about poetry in class. The tutor introduced us several famous poems, which reminded me of a poem I read before. The name of the poem is Down by the Sally Gardens that was written by William Butler Yeats. This poem describes a young man felt regretful to lose his lover because of being youth and foolish.
I think most people will miss their first love. It may be not only because it happened when people are still in a naive age, but also since it did not have an ending. People always want things they do not have, so the loss of their first love makes feel uncomfortable. In the other hand, most first love breaks down because people are still young and cannot understand others well. Therefore, they may quarrel about tiny things and have to break up at last. When they look back at an older age, they may realize that they will still get on well if they consider the problem from the other side, which makes them regretful. Just like the poem says, “But I was young and foolish, and now I am full of tears”.
There is another sentence, “She bid me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree”, that makes me think a lot. Because of youth, some people pay too much attention to the love that it has influenced their daily life. In addition, they may mind little things when they are with another. It may give the other person high pressure and make him feel tired. So please take love easy, and give the other one some private space.
In conclusion, when you are in love, please trust and be kind to each other, then you will not lose your true love. At last, I want to share this poem with you, and I also suggest you find the song whose lyric is this poem.
Down By the Sally Gardens
By William Butler Yeats

Down by the sally gardens my love and I did meet
She passed the sally gardens with little snow-white feet
She did me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree
But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree

In a filed by the river my love and I did stand
And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snows-white hand
She bid me take life easy, as the grass grows on the weirs
But I was young and foolish, and now I am full of tears

Writing poems for myself

Writing poems for myself

“明天的明天的晴天/你我的你我的流年/时光的时光的缱绻/午后的午夜的散漫”

I always feel like writing something on a piece of paper anytime I’d like to. The Chinese fragment above was written when I was waiting for a lecture to start. The game of playing with Chinese rhythm is truly fascinating to me as what is to be completed can be totally neat both in sound and in appearance once successfully done. To tell the truth, I do appreciate the Chinese language and I do personally hold the belief that Chinese is tremendously feasible for poems. It can be so charming in itself. It is not an enjoyable thing to translate a Chinese poem to an English one, but I have tried.
“The sunny day of the day after tomorrow
The flowing time we relish together
Nothing hurries as the light shines cozily
Lie in the couch from the serene afternoon to deep in night”
You can always have fun with what you enjoy even if you do not do well. If you savor what you like for yourself, who cares what you are doing except yourself.

I love a poem written by the Irish poet William Butler Yeats called When you are old. Actually, however, what impressed me a lot at the beginning was the Chinese translation version by a Chinese author Feibai, which is incredibly beautiful for me. When I eventually manage to find the original one, I was a little disappointed. The meaning was of course more impressive and charming than the translation, but I do not appreciate the rhyme that much.

When You Are Old

When you are old and grey and full of sleep
And nodding by the fire, take down this book
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars

Again, I do think the raising up and down of tones are much more distinct in Chinese that in English, for it is conspicuous that Mandarin has four separate tones for every character while English do not. Maybe the Chinese in poems can be considered more musical.
In the end, I think the most typical modern poems of Chinese are in various pop songs. Some of them are considerably well done in terms of lyrics while others are just acceptable when the tones are changed into a song. I write for fun, just the same as I listen to music to enjoy myself. Hope you can find the way you get pleasure from yourself despite of what others think about your job.

Our Group 3

Our English bridging course will finish soon. When I am looking forward to life in NUS, I also feel a little sad because during these 6 months, I experienced a lot and I have to admit that I love our tutors and classmates very much. I do not want to say goodbye to you.
If you have visited my qq zone once, you will find that most journals I wrote are about my friends. And in this last blog, I want to write all of you.
I want to say thank you to our tutor first. They give me a feeling like my mother. When first coming to a country that I have never been to, I really felt lonely and because I have never left my city since I was born, even my university in China is in Dalian-my hometown, I missed my parents especially my mother very much. And I think I found the shadow of my mother on them. Our group is amazing because we have four female tutors, but that makes us feel the dense love from them. And they each are very different. Ms Leo is very erudite, every time we have class with her, we will always learn a lot of new things from her. And I think she is also very rigorous during our research project. Ms Khoo is very lovely. I love her big smile and her happiness when talking about her family. Meena and Ms Vivien both pull me out when I was in abyss. I remember those encouraging words they gave me. They all make me feel the warm.
And I love our classmates. Although we have known each other only for a short time, I just feel that we are like a big family. Everyone is different but just because of these varieties, our family is unique. We are all very energetic because every day I always hear laugh from our group. And our group has the killer game which other groups do not have. Although now we don’t play that game more often, it gave us a beautiful memory about sitting on the ground and laughing unconstrained. I still remember the day we went to East Coast Park together. We rode the bicycles in the heavy rain. And that is the real youth which only belongs to us. I will also keep in mind the mini steam-pot made by Xiaoxuan. It is really delicious which later was popularized to all our classmates. And although I havn't tried Tianhang's noodle, I think it must be very palatable. I always tease Xiaoxuan that the hot pot is poisonous. But I want to say that Xiaoxuan is really a very kind girl. I hope she can find her true love in the future. Please put down those unpleasant memories and the person who doesn’t deserve your love. And also in our holiday, I felt the unity of our group. Thanks to Cuiniu who helped me to borrow the pot from his officers.
I want to say thank you to my classmates. We have flower, grass and many who bring happiness to us everyday. I have Taining who accompanies me to have lunch everyday~Thank you for those who care for me.Every time I was sad, Tianya would always leave a message to comfort me. And I really want to thank Shuman who always comfort me.  I hope you can be happy forever. And Benjing, who helped me to find out what I want to get on earth and gave me the courage to move on. And thanks for all your support. You have brought the beautiful memories to me. I am very happy that we are in the same class. I think we are much skirted. Among so many Chinese, we are chosen to come here. Among so many students in SM3, we are in NUS. Among so many NUS students, we are in Group 3, which only belongs to us. I will keep these memories in my mind. Although we will say goodbye to each other, we are still friends.
I love all of you. All in Group 3.

My attitude towards cloning

When it comes to cloning, I am very excited about this topic. I think through cloning we can clone the thing we cherish and never lose it.

Cloning has many advantages. Firstly, we can use this technology to protect endangered animals from distinction. Then we could also try to use this method to relive extinct animals and even to see live dinosaurs. In addition, we could clone many domestic animals to work for farms, which will be beneficial to human beings.

Additionally, cloning human beings is a sensitive topic. I am in favor of cloning human beings. But in order not to cause a mess to the world, cloning should abide by some rules strictly. In my opinion, human cloning should be agreed by the person who is cloned, because it is his right to choose whether there is another him existing in the world or not. Then it is must be a special situation when person is cloned, such as he gets cancer and so on. Although there are still many problems in cloning, I think it also has many benefits. By cloning, people can get a baby who has high intelligence if he is cloned by an outstanding person. Furthermore, if people get serious illness, doctor can use his cell to clone only some his organs to save him. In short, by trying cloning we can get lots of surprising answers.

Therefore, I support making good use of cloning to offer benefits to our life.

Love Her, Love Her Child

These days, I have been read the series of Harry Potter for a second time. Something in the books made me think deep.
I think my favorite character in this series may be Professor Severus Snape. He was being alive just for Lily. Snape served for Voldemort just because he didn’t want Lily to marry James Potter. Therefore, when he knew that Voldemort would kill Lily because of the prediction he told Voldemort, he was regretful and even kneed down to beg Voldemort not to kill Lily. After Lily’s death, Snape made a decision that he would protect Lily’s son, Harry Potter. His love had gone beyond death. Although Lily would never love him, he still tried his best to protect Lily and the thing she valued most.
Snape’s behavior made me think of another character, Heathcliff, in Wuthering Heights. He was faced to the same problem as Snape. His favorite girl, Catharine, married to another man. However, when Catharine died after she gave birth to her daughter, young Catharine, Heathcliff started to revenge the girl because she was her father’s daughter. I wonder why Heathcliff didn’t treat young Catharine as her mother’s daughter and protect her just like what Snape did.
The reason may be that Catharine chose her husband just because he was richer than Heathcliff. She wanted a comfortable and luxurious life which Heathcliff cannot give her at that moment. And Heathcliff, as an adopted boy, was looked down on him when he was young. He actually wanted to revenge the whole society whose principle was that money is everything. However, Snape separated from Lily because of his own fault. He shouted at Lily “Mudblood!” Maybe it was because of Snape’s strange personality, but his personality was also related to his childhood experience. The difference is that Snape didn’t try to hurt others to get comfort. Therefore, After his death, Happy appreciated him from heart and name one of his children who got the same green eyes from Lily after him. Heathcliff did, but when he was old, he was trapped in the yearning to Catharine, and finally died due to the guilty. It was the punishment to him.
I think these were two opposite different love. I will do as Snape. The reason is simple. If the one I loved died, I would like him to leave this world without worry.

Travelling on foot

One of the choices that I like to spend their holidays is travelling on foot. I can get a lot of things from this kind of journeys, which could be learning the local cultural, and relaxing myself from the high pressure caused by the fast-paced life. Travelling In a place includes enjoying the local food, communicating with the local people and visiting the unique environment and buildings. All the three things I have mentioned above are the main things that can show the local cultural. Walking is the best way to feel the cultural. Although I’m a real local of Shanghai, I have never realized the great beauty of this city until I travelled in this city for a whole day just on foot. I walked through the downtown from its south to its north, which was about 23km in all. The route chose includes Town God’s Temple, the Bund, several beautiful parks and some fabulous avenues with lots of tall and lush phoenix trees on the both sides. I could feel the traditional beauty of the city by visiting the ancient buildings and feeding my stomach with local snacks in the Town God’s Temple. I could also feel the modern city atmosphere during the visiting of the Bund. Another thing that left me a deep impression was a local aunt. When I was sitting on a bench on the side of a street to have a rest and check my location in my map, a local aunt came to me to offer me help because she misunderstood me as a lost visitor. So small an episode it was but it showed the very kindness of Shanghainess. Only through this walking travel did I feel the cultural and the beauty of this city. I had a walking journey in Singapore as well. I did not prepare for that journey. It was just because I happened to have a map with me and I unfortunately missed the bus so I decided to walk to my hostel to have fun. The whole trip was about 14km. It was not a very long distance and it took only 3 hours. There were not many people on the street in the afternoon, especially in the sun. All the ways along with my trip were full of the green. The number of the trees was far bigger than the number of pedestrians, which was almost impossible in China. To tell the truth, there were not many things to say about this trip but I still could feel the satisfaction of finishing the trip and enjoyed the amazing green views. You can never feel the charm of walking until you have tried it yourself. Next time you want to plan a trip, try to walk instead of taking MRTs or cars, you will find a totally new world filled with beauty.

How to forget a person?

Today, we had a discussion about whether you, as a girl, would marry a blue-collar worker. Most of our girls gave the answer "no". But my answer is if I love him deeply, I won't care this kind of things about him. I want to say, if I love a person, nothing will disturb my love. So you can see, if I love a person, it is hard for me to not love him.
I want to say these things 4 years ago. These are just what I have thought in my mind. So please don't tease about what I am thinking, I am really serious. Since this is my tenderest part of feeling, I hope the person that read this blog can give me some suggestions about how to forget a person.
I am sure that all our classmates know a person that I have a special feeling towards. Just as the oral report and presentation I have given which topic is love. I do think that love is an amazing and attractive thing which make you feel both happy and sad. Yes, this person, I have been loved for 4 years. I know it is not rational to love someone in our age. But everyone in this age will have some kind of feelings more or less. So I want to know, can you feel my feeling? Is there a person in your heart the same to me? I just know that when I am not with him, I want to see him. Every time I passed my former classroom, the first person I want to find is he. And I will be happy every time I saw him. But similarly, during these 4 years, not only happiness was accompanied with me, but also the sorrow. I still remembered at the end of 2010, the tears have been shed for a whole night because of him. And later when I recalled that experience, I just felt  it is not worth doing that for he is not the right person for me. So I decided to forget him. I have sent some messages about this decision many times but always face the fail. And my friends all know that every time I said that kind of things was just a way to show the moment of excited. And later when I came here, many friends told me that love in different areas is not stable. But I just ignore it because I just know I like him. Maybe I cannot say love, but still the feeling never passed away. And I really suffered a lot. So this time I really make my mind in forgetting him. I made a choice that I have never made before. I removed him from my special list in my QQ contact and put his number in the normal list for the first time. And after doing that, I am quite sure that this time I will delete him from my brain. However, it is so astonished that every time I took some steps, he seemed to know and would talk to me not like what he did normally. So that's why I cannot forget him successfully. Every time, he is the person who can destroy my confidence which I made a lot of effort to establish easily.
I just want to forget him and begin a new life.  So who can tell me how can I do that?

Difficulty is also a beautiful scene

Life cannot be always smooth. When we come across a setback in our life, regarding it as a beautiful scene and appreciating its beauty will make our life more meaningful and enjoyable.

I think the biggest challenge I have met so far is the preparation for the entrance examination. In that year, I had to study hard to do many exercises every day and be faced with exams every week. In that time, I ever felt it so hard that I did not have spare time to do other things. I looked forward to the end of that period of time and I thought I would have more freedom to enjoy myself when it came to the end. However, nowadays when I look back at that period of that time, I think it a most beautiful scene in my life. I can study hard with my classmates together to get a good result. The life was busy but meaningful, I could fight for my dream with effort I made. I really miss that time when I worked hard with a pure purpose to be admitted by the university I want. By burying myself in the study, I also learned to   concentrate on what I was doing and never give in to any difficulty I met. Through the experience I think that there is not any difficulty stopping my step to the success. Only if I work hard and keep confident, will I overcome any setback and achieve my dream at last.

In conclusion, when we are faced with a difficulty on the road, we should keep a positive attitude towards it and regard it as a beautiful scene. Life is never easy, so enjoying the difficulty will make our life more colorful.

Overcome the fear

General Patton once said:'' Everybody is afraid of something. The cleverer he is, the more fearful he feels. Brave people are those who is regardless of their fear and force themselves to do the things.''

Here is a story about Napoleon.

A normal person needs about a whole year to prepare for a campaign, instead of which, Napoleon only needs two weeks for a campaign because of his unique enthusiasm and superior judgement. Austrians thought the idea to cross the Alps was impossible and funny. They said:'' There are no cars can cross the Alps and it is impossible to have.'' But to their surprise, Napoleon not only managed to do it but also with his army with his cannons which weighed hundreds thousands tons. Austrians who had lost the battle could never believe what had happened and said that:'' Our enemies are not human beings! They are the creatures can fly!''

One Austrians once said with great anger:'' This young commander know absolutely nothing about the wars. He never followed the art of the war. He may do everything beyond our imagination!'' That's the Napoleon we respect who dare to try everything.

The one who never take an adventure in his whole life time should pity to himself because of his waste of his life. In this world, only to face the problems directly and dare to take the risk can we get the victory and profit. Dare to to think and do and then can we have the chance to success. People always try to escape from the fear and thousands of time we miss the opportunities because of fear. To the people who are afraid of danger, they can always find some reasons to escape.

One day, a person asked a farmer:''Have you planted wheat?'' The farmer answered:''Not yet, I'm afraid that it will not rain.'' The person then asked:'' What about cotton? Have you planted them?'' Not yet, I concern that the worms may eat my cotton.'' The person finally asked:'' So what have you planted?'' The farmer answered:'' I have planted nothing to ensure the safety of my property.''

There is no 100% safety in this world. The risk is everywhere every time. When we face the fear, the only thing we should think about is how to overcome it instead of how to escape.

Personalities and Constellation

According to the months in which people was born, they are divided into twelve constellations. It is said that personalities have some relation to the constellation. It may sound ridiculous, but the fact is that people do have some common personalities with their typical constellation characters. There are a lot of such coincidences happening to people around me, even myself.
I’m a Cancer. The most typical personality of Cancer is caring for and protecting family as much as possible. Actually, I’m such a person. I attach importance to my family and always take it into account first. If I must choose from my family and another important thing, I will choose the former.
It looks so amazing that I start to think whether it’s just a coincidence. I think there are must be some reasons for it. One possible reason is the hint. When people first see the typical personalities they may not have these characters. However, they may think I’m this constellation so I must behave as the principle. Time pass by, they may finally find they have become representatives of that constellation.
Another reason may be that people have complex personalities. The typical constellation personalities may just one aspect. If people pay attention to other typical characters, they may also find some similarities. For example, except taking my family seriously, I’m also full of energy and like to adventure, which are the personalities of Sagittarius. However, most people just focus on their own constellation and don’t note others, so they don’t realize it.
I think there must be something causes the coincidence. Otherwise, all people belong to the same constellation will have the same personalities, is it possible?

introvert

I am an extroverted person definitely. But sometimes I do like a person who has a introvert personality.
Almost all the people in this society believe that having extrovert makes a person more likely to succeed. Since people all think that extrovert makes people have a better communication with more people and can help them to build a larger relationship group. As a consequence, in the future, people they know may help them to do something which they cannot finish by themselves. In addition, people have a deep-rooted thought that is people with extrovert are more likely to be optimistic and people who are introverted are always the people who have a high risk of suffering from depression.
However, I think this is a really superficial idea. I once listened to a lecture given by a lawyer who works in the Wall Street. She is an introverted person who likes reading very much. In her childhood, she once took part in a summer camp. Every time she wanted to read books, there would always be someone appeared talking to her with great care. All the teachers in that camp kept telling children they should be rowdy which means they would be better if they establish their extroverted personality. From that, we can see how important it is in people’s minds even though it may not be as significant as people think. Her grandfather was also an introverted person but full of influence who was mourned by a huge number of people for his sagacity.
From the instance above, we can find that introverted people can also be successful. Many celebrities in the world, such as Gandhi and Eleanor Roosevelt, leaders in the world, were introverted, so we can deny this fallacious thought. We should all admit the advantage introverted people have. When being a leader, they are more likely to encourage their crew to explain what they are thinking about. However, an extroverted leader is easy to be excited to the idea he comes up with so that he will always ignore some other ideas in some way. And we all know that sometimes being quiet can give us more time and more energy to think about one thing thoroughly by which we will make a decision more reasonable. And since teachers all think that extrovert is important, they always want to keep students in a group to strengthen the teamwork spirit which can make them communicate more and be more excited to talk to others. This can also lead to a bad consequence, that is it may make students think less because they depend on others more.
In my opinion, no matter which kind of person we are, we all have some shining point that cannot be replaced by others. Both introvert and extrovert have their own advantages. We should admit the value and importance introverted people have. We also should acknowledge their power and potential for they can develop ability as well as extroverted people. Up to now, the opinion of these two things is not poised and that cause the discrimination in our mind. Just like sexual discrimination which we all admit it is wrong. So please change the scale in your mind. I can assert if we all change this viewpoint, our society will operate more efficiently.

Naruto And His Belief

These days, I have been watching the Japanese cartoon which was adopted from the comic, Naruto. This cartoon described the life of the ninjas and the precious relationships between them. I started to watch the cartoon when I was still in junior high school. At that time, one of my friends love this cartoon very much, so she always talked to me about the cartoon and tried her best to persuade me to watch it. In order not to let her down, I tried, and was addicted to it, too.

Although because of the College Entrance Examination, I hadn’t watch for more than one year, I was still moved by the friendship and persistence that were showed. The lead in the cartoon, Naruto, was an orphan. His parents were dead when they fought with an evil fox. When his father died, the father sealed the fox in the body of him. Therefore, all the villages hated him. However, he didn’t give up, and tried to make other people who had a painful and lonely experience cheer up. In addition, he cherished any friendship he built, no matter weather the person betrayed the village.

I think Naruto is a unique character. When we face a previous friend who has betrayed us, most of us may break up immediately, and may also worry that the person will influence our future. However, Naruto chose to try his best to prevent his friend, Sasuke, leaving the village. After he failed, he started to persuade Sasuke to come back. In contract, if it happened to us, most of us wouldn’t be so persistent that we would give up soon. And this is the reason why the cartoon moved me.

Unfortunately, the cartoon has been produced for more than ten years, but it hasn’t been finished yet. However, I’m not worried that I cannot finish the part that has been produced. I’m very confident that I will live much longer than the author, so I have enough time to watch it.

My reflections on “Math Genius”------Liu Lu

Several days ago I heard a piece of news that an undergraduate in Central South University confirmed the Ramsly Theory, which was a famous unsolved math problem and wasn’t confirmed successfully before. The undergraduate’s name is Liu Lu and his achievement made a sensation to the academic area. Rewarding for his achievement Central South University give him one million yuan and invite him to be a professor in Central South University.

I wonder how could such a young man work out an unsolved math problem, after I read the report about his experience in learning math I think he deserves it. Liu Lu is a serious about academy and buries himself in solving math problem without any bothering from outside. He learns a lot of math knowledge by himself for he is much interested in math. When he applied for university, all his majors were declared math. Although from others’ perspective math is not a good choice because it is hard for math student to find a satisfying job. However, Liu Lu insisted on his interest and chased his dream bravely. Finally, he did his best and won reputation for himself.

As far as I am concerned, Liu Lu’s success indicates that we should know where our interest is and chase it bravely. In modern society, we shouldn’t choose a major only according to whether it is easy to find a satisfying job with high salary, instead we should depend on our interest and dream. As there is a saying that there will be excellent and successful people in each industry only if you do your best. It is important for us to keep a peaceful mind nowadays. Only if we try our best to do in our interested area without caring about outside, can we get success whatever we major in. In conclusion, develop our interest and chase it bravely!

The Ideal Husband

The Ideal Husband
Recently I am watching a TV play series called Beijing Love story, which narrates some stories about several young people living in Beijing. Though I have been gone through it terrifically slowly due to a lot of study assignment, it always readily fascinates me in a profound manner every time I turn to the videos. The love relationships in it are not all blessed or romantic, and additionally the plots are of much interesting and original points. By virtue of this blog entry, I am going to talk about the ideal love and the ideal husband in my point of view, which may be unrealistic or might seem too daydreaming, but I personally reckon it will hardly hurt if we enjoy daydreaming when we are still young enough to conquer the right.
I have heard about this kind of statement: “Even the most blessed couple will experience fifty times when they want to divorce and one hundred times when they have the thoughts in mind of killing each other.” It’s coming from someone’s mouth on a TV shoe which was probably too exaggerated in a sense. However, I do approve of the notion that the closest couple can still have significant conflict sometimes. For this consideration, I think the ideal husband in life must be well aware of it, keeping tolerant and good-tempered whenever a trouble comes into being.
Hopefully, I think the ideal relationship between husband and wife commands both sides to treat each other as considerately as treating themselves. I hope I will encounter such a gentlemen who is willing to care for me even more than caring about himself, and naturally takes it for granted. Likely, I have read something about it that impresses me a great deal. The male leading role in one of the novels of my favorite author once said to his sister, actually terribly drunk and full of sorrow in heart: “I merely feel like looking for a woman, who will love me with no extra conditions. I know it’s stupid, but I can’t help thinking what if such a person really exists? I just want to see if there can be a woman, who is willing to do anything, for the sake of me.” Yes, maybe it’s desperately stupid, but I can’t cease the stubborn thought in mind that people of indeed love with each other will behave in this romantically stupid way.
When we are alone drown in the crowds, losing the direction where we feel like going to, it will occur to us that if only someone appears beside ourselves all of a sudden and hold our hands tightly to dispel fear in the heart; when we trudge through the tedious life without promising hope supporting us, it came out again that if only there is someone just keeping us company throughout the whole life.

Never find an excuse for yourself

Here are two little stories.

This was a story in the war between United States and Spain. To win the war, the president of United States needed to get contact with the leader of the army against Spain who was hiding in the jungle of Cuba that time. When the president felt hopeless because nobody knew the exact location of the army, someone recommended Rowen to the president and said that Rowen was the only man who could do this task. So the president met Rowen and gave him the letter to the leader. Rowen took the letter and sailed for 4 days on a small boat along until he reached the shore of Cuba. He only one person walked through the jungle in three weeks and finished the task. The main point was that when Rowen took the letter from president he didn't ask the question : 'Where is that leader ?' He just took the letter and finished this impossible task. Actually, that leader' name is Garcia and this story is well known by the world as 'A message to Garcia'.

The similar story also happened in the movie 'Saving Private Ryan' . In World War Two, the commander John got a mission to find a solider whose name was Ryan in the mess battlefield. This solider was the son of an old mother. This mother' husband was dead and she had four sons, but three of them had already died in this war, Private Ryan was the only son left. The military wanted to find the last son in order to save the last hope of this family. The same as Rowen, this commander John accepted the mission though he didn't know where the Ryan was. At last the whole saving group died including John but the successfully saved Ryan.

Rowen and commander John in these two stories all accepted the impossible mission without any excuses. They just accepted it and did it and finally succeeded. In the real life, we always try to find some excuses to be the reasons of shirking from the difficulties. Never find an excuses for yourself, face the problems directly, that's the thing we should do.

In the West Point, when the commanders ask their students a question, students only can give one of the four answers. 'Yes, sir','No, sir', 'I have no excuses' and 'I don't know.'. The commanders there only care about the result instead of the reason you haven't finished the tasks.

our unforgettable day in east coast park

Last Thursday, our group had a journey in east coast park which I thought was the most memorable reminiscene in my mind after coming to Singapore. The only thing I felt was that I love our group 3.
There were many things that impressed me a lot. The first thing was that we girls, pushed almost all the boys into the sea. I did think it was hard to imagine for I think it could only happen in the film such as the girl we chased together in the past. When watching that movies, I was attracted by the scene that they played in the sea. But that day, we all had that kind of experience, which made us really exciting.
The next thing that I cannot forget was that we rode double bikes in the rain. Through that experience, first I saw my disadvantage, which is always pausing and pondering. I hate that kind of me for it makes me hard to make a decision as quickly as possible. However, I am sure that I will overcome that difficult in the future. I will try my best. And I had experienced riding in the rain. This was the second time. I enjoyed that kind of feeling which made you relax yourself although at the same time it made you all wet. It made me recall the time in Xi'an,when four of us rode bikes for 4 hours in the rain. It released your soul. You would never feel being shackled by others.
The third thing that I will keep in my mind was sitting in a circle beside the sea in the dark night. I did think that activity made our group more unite. We played games together. We peaked the atmosphere which made all of us excited. With a song called ten years,we ended our trip. When coming back home, I betted with Benjing that our route is shorter than the way she decided to choose. As a result, after leaving the MRT, 5 of our gilrs including me , rushed to the next line without seeing others' disdainful sight. And we were really happy when finding that we were the first to arrive at the lodge.
There were many things that deserved to be an aftertaste. What I want to say the most is that, this was the real youth. We should just be like this! Do what we want, no matter it was raining heavily or not, no matter the behaviour was stupid or not, but that was the real ourselves. It also made me recall a lot of things which brought me felicity. These are all beautiful memories, which you will never want to forget.Although we will not be together with each others, we have the corporate experience and that's enough. We are friends no matter where we go.
Hope all of us will keep this memory in minds and treasure it. And wish everyone a nice future~

The strategy of using time more efficiently

The strategy of using time more efficiently
Everyone has only twenty-four hours a day, someone could use least time to do many things while some others are always in a hurry without doing much work. Therefore, how to arrange our time properly is extremely important in our daily lives.
Suppose there happens a sensational news in a rural area, and every reporter wants to get the news at the first time, but only a reporter get the news firstly. As for his successful reason, he called his driver to occupy the only telephone firstly when others are busy with writing news, so when he finish his report he deliver it to the driver who are waiting on the phone and send the news to his company quickly. In this way he save the time waiting for telephone so he get success. From this story I learn that we need to know how to arrange our time.
Firstly, we need to set a time table for ourselves every week for according to the schedule we won’t waste time but use our time properly.  Next, we should know what time is our most efficient time, in others words, we need to be head –clever at that time. It will help us do more work in the meantime. Moreover, we can make good use of short time to do something instead of let it fly. For example, when we are waiting for a bus or subway, we could read some books in our mobile phone.
To conclusion, only we know how to use time more efficiently, we will get more free time to do what we want to do.

 Love is Not Blind

 Love is Not Blind
Every girl dreams of a prince who will bring her to a dramatically romantic palace and fancinate her with all kinds of surprises every day. However, what if there is a boy standing behind you all the time when you suffer frustration without expressing his love through words? What if you cannot meet a handsome prince but a general boy who are willing to keep your company no matter whether you are young or getting old?

There is a girl called Huang Xiaoxian, who has just broken up with her disloyal boyfriend, struggling aganst a feel of depression;quite close to her there is a boy whose nickname was Wang Xiaojian(created by Xiaoxian actually),who doesn’t say a word to comfort her feeling but simply supports and probably loves her in an unnoticeable way. It’s a story of a Chinese film Love is Not Blind(失恋33),which makes an attempt to display a kind of relationship right between boyfriend and ordinary friend.
The film is an adaptation from a novel of the same name.As a matter of fact, the story is initially come into public’s sight on the Chinese website Douban.com,posted by a young girl called Bao Jingjing. It became popular immediately, and a good many netizens on Douban website chased after the lovely story and encourage the girl to continue finishing it.Then a moving novel came into being followed by the film mentioned above.
As a work of adaptation, the film is different from the original story for some parts. For instance, the ending of the film exposes an indication that Xiaojian is in love with Xiaoxian and is willing to care for her forever;nevertheless,in the novel, eventually Xiaoxian remains to be a considerate and close friend but maybe not a boyfriend in reality.Personally, though the novel’s ending shows an admirable relationship between the boy and the girl,I would like to trust the ending in the film rather than to drown myself in the sweet dream.
Having such a close friend of the opposite sex is truly desirable, but it’s more dramatical than being fantastic.I prefer to admit that Xiaojian devotes such a great deal to Xiaoxian simply because he loves her. However,I do believe that close friendship is the essential foundation of sweet affection,as Ms Khoo said this Wednesday Morning. Thus, hope every girl has a Wang Xiaojian, who will always hold her hands tightly no matter how much sadness the world has sent to her.
