English Learning
I used to memorize vocabularies with a hardworking learning strategy. Wherever I came across new words, I writed these new vocabularies and their exact definitions in Chinese on my vocabulary notebook. But all I did is just for dictation quizzes. It won’t leave a significant impression in my mind. I can’t master vocabularies because of paying too much attention on their definitions. After the class on Thursday, I learned something new about vocabulary and collocation. I can learn collocations in the form of word folks and bubble networks with my brain storm. Some internet sources such as dictionary.com and wordandphrase.info will also help. With these methods, I will gain better knowledge about how to combine words to make them meaningful. I’m sure it will greatly help me improve my English proficiency.

ReplyDeleteI always think collocations can help us a lot,and after reading this article I will pay attention on Internet sources
ReplyDeleteAs for me, is also important to know the exact definitions of words as well as mastering the collocations.Maybe the best way is to combine the two strategies together.
