When I came to Singapore, and went shopping for the first time,I am surprised to see a lot of people who sit in wheelchair shop with their family. In China,I seldom see people with wheelchair in the street,so I'm astonished that what I have seen.
It didn't take me long to find the reason.Almost every building has special path for these people, and inside,it also has special toilets.Even the elevators have lower buttons. But in China, just a few buildings has special path for people sitting in wheelchair, few of them have special toilets or something else, which results in disable people preferring to staying at home.
It's just one detail to show the humanizasion designs of Singapore.I think when I live here longer,
I will be more interested in its colorful culture and careful policies.
Yeah, there are many humanization patterns in Singapore. Actually, in rural area of China, which I lived in, it is very convenient for disabled people to use the very old type of toilet pit. Both the most modern city and the most traditional village are of much humanization. Haha, so interesting, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYes,but why didn't I see these things before in China?
