Last week, I have experienced a good Sunday with my friends. We were arranged to go to the Singapore zoo for our “service program” which I thought would be a boring activity before I went there. The first thing which changed my mind was the handsome leader who was a very successful business man. He organized us and divided us into different groups in which period he did his job with patience and passion all the time. We were all attracted by his charming voice and persuasive sentences. When he introduced the program to us, he asked us what meaningful contribution was. After listening to our different answers, he told us that we all lived in society and even a small success we had achieved could not realize without society. So we all needed to do something for our society and that was meaningful contribution. Another important thing I had learned from him was how to make a plan. We did an interesting game which was to change three boys and girls’ order using as little time as we could. After that game he said: “Plan is very important, if you don’t have a plan, you are planning to die.” He was such a philosophical man who can have this philosophical saying. I thought deeply for what he said and realized that I should make some changes to my life style. And another interesting thing was what I heard from a little boy. When we looked the tigers in the zoo, a kid asked his father what were they thinking about. Of course, he meant the tigers. I was very surprised that the boy could have such an interesting question. I thought only children could ask what the tigers are thinking about. The cute boy made me think of my childhood… We also had a good lunch and took many photos that day. I think it is good day. I not only had fun in the zoo, but also learned many things from the handsome man and even the little boy.
