It is believed that the education one received makes him who he is. I think, the “education” here refers to the family education because it starts to shape one’s character as soon as he is born which is different from the school education. And I want share with you something about my family and the education I received from my parents. My mother is a procurator and my father woks in a company. They are very traditional and they are very strict with me. (I believe this has something to do with their major, they both study law.) I now sometimes complain that I didn’t have a light-hearted childhood since I have to attend extra classes when I was 4 and I don’t feel confident because they never feel satisfied with what I have achieved. However I feel thankful that they taught me to behave well, have a serious attitude towards study and learn lessons from the failure. Furthermore, they trained me to be an honest and self-disciplined girl. I can talk with them openly to express my thought, I can refer to them whenever I am in a dilemma instead of heading my difficulties from them. I am proud of who I am though I know I am far away from perfect. I know I really beneifted from the education I received from my parents.
I agree with you because I have almost the same experience as yours. i also have strict parents and can talk about everything with them. they are not only my parents but also my best friends. i think what they taught you will be beneficial for your whole life. treasure it!
